Learn Before You Earn from your traffic exchanging activities.

Hello everyone,

Making this initial post for the newly created account @pept-learn
I started with the pept-learn account but the system did not allow the posting because the account did not have enough resource credit. I guess a 100% was not enough on that new account.

The purpose of @pept-learn account is to influence change and nuture an environment that is more conducive to learning for subscribers of our Hive traffic exchange community known as #pept or Project ePayTraffic

As we move forward with our integration of web2 to the web3 blockchain, you will have the opportunity to earn. Earn what you may be thinking? Well, the more obvious would be a revenue stream, ie money. The not so obvious may be knowledge.

However, I did say, " this account is to influence change " which to me supersedes the limitation of knowledge.

What did Albert Einstein say about knowledge?

Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.

Think about that for a moment. But first, you must open your mind and be allowing to new data. New thinking. New application. We are all Newbies. Don't be fooled by misinformation or disinformation. Don't focus too much at what a subject matter expert says but monitor their activity and adjust yours accordingly.

When I decided that I was ready to take the next step in the Hive blockchain traffic exchanging world, it was because I saw a use case.

Consider the following...

A use case is a written description of how users will perform tasks on your website. It outlines, from a user's point of view, a system's behavior as it responds to a request. Each use case is represented as a sequence of simple steps, beginning with a user's goal and ending when that goal is fulfilled.

Now imagine doing a use case on a Manual Traffic Exchange site. A TE site. The other day I saw quotes used around "traffic exchange" to designate it being different than say a Content Delivery site. Sometimes you have to step away from something to see what is really going on. Take on the role of an observer and rise to 20,000 feet or more and then look down at all the connections in the world sharing traffic. Now ask yourself, how can I play in traffic, have fun, learn and earn in such a way that it is a net positive to me and my community. I personally put others first and I love everyone. That is my starting point to every connection I make. Once a connection is made I progress from there based on knowledge, experience, intuition and so on. Human qualities. The idea of recruiting people to signup to any site or program in hope they spend money so I can make money is not something I pursue. It is not my desired path. It happens and so do many other things that is not reliable. It is just not a purpose and a focus in comparison to many other things I do online.

While I did my research into several hundred sites and programs, I looked for strength, weakness and survivability. I explored and played as many roles in the process as I could. I was a visitor, a free member, an upgraded member, an associate, a JV Partner, an Admin, an owner, an investor and a few more hats were worn. I did it for personal development initially and then realized how easy it could be to generate a significant monthly income. I also learned a great deal about dishonest people and people caught up into less than favorable ways to generate an income. My tendency is to look at products and services based on measurable quality elements. Comes from a 9 year period of being a Quality Assurance Specialist. Now, I retired in 2010 at the age of 53. Fast forward to 2016, I had already decided on a traffic exchange platform that could serve the needs of anyone wanting to promote almost anything they wanted online. As I got familiar with the back office coding behind the various sites and programs, I learned about the limitation and weakness in the programs and platforms. I decided to build my own back office. Now fast forward to the technological changes in coding of applications and the transformability of Hive blockchain protocol and you start to see a more effective and efficient way to influence change in your community in a more positive way.

My imagination is great. My keyboarding skills is not very good. Everyone of us is great at something and not so good at other things. We all interact in a community differently. And we are presented with many communities on Hive. We are encouraged to pick one that aligns with our likes. This of course is to encourage member engagement.

As a newbie to the Hive community, I found it difficult to decide how and where I would publish my content, keeping in mind the value and purpose of the reward system. And then, there is the value and purpose of all the tokens you can hold and/or trade. Plus, consider the number of tokens that derive their value based of holdings of other tokens. Churning trades, well, traffic actually. Traffic that may not be so good for the member.

Here, on PEPT, we want to share our experiences, openly, honestly and in a way that influences a positive change going forward. This is what I intend on demonstrating. Yes, I can and will produce documentation that will serve you well in your online initiatives. That's the easy part. The more challenging part is implementing measures in our online activities that prepare us for the known and unknown. I have not been on Hive very long and I have already implemented a strategy to manage all the returns I have gotten from the Hive community already. Every time I give something I get more in return. I hope that is the same for every subscriber of PEPT. Maybe not now but perhaps as we go forward in our Learn Before You Earn journey.

What came first?
Project ePayTraffic Revenue Sharing Model or Hive community reward pool?

As you can see, ePayTraffic has been around for a few years. Outlived many sites and programs already.

Some of you may be familiar with the work I have been doing in building a Member Quality Scorecard and the MQS Approved master database. These are components of the Revenue Sharing Model I designed. The model includes the management of project units held by members and MQS points earned based on activities within our traffic exchange network. Soon you will see a post about earning and/or purchasing some PEPT tokens.

I leave you with a couple of links to content you should read.

As challenging as it was to get started on Hive, I do believe it is a game changer for my business and personal interest going forward. I have been able to take the 20,000 foot view and observed the full integration of business and pleasure.

Thank you for making time to read #myintroduction to Learn Before You Earn philosophy. Let's get #alive and have a little #lol and #fun
