People do make a lot of toys, but there is useful stuff too. I expect to do more music accessories. I will look into some organising systems to see what suits my needs.
Do you feel like you can print it cheaper that you could buy something that does a similar function? I get the idea of customizing something and being able to say you printed it yourself, but is it really cost effective from an ROI standpoint? Like the mini rack for example? I got thinking about that after I replied to your post.
A production rack would cost more than this did, but then that would probably be metal. Small items can cost very little to print. Things may not always be cheaper, but convenience and customisation have value.
I would expect that some items may require experimenting that will use up time and materials. It's a hobby really and that usually ends up costing money.
