FIREMAN LIGHT: OUR INTERESTING 3D-PRINTING CASE

Our 3d-printing studio works every day almost 5 years already!

As a rule we print many toys and souveniers for holidays and sell them at the marketplace and in the local shop. But we do like getting interesting technical orders where my hubby can use his 3d-modelling skills, and we can add new nice issues to our reviews.

Some days ago we got an order from a fireman who asked to repair their signal light. It was like a challenge for us because we had never done it before, and there were 2 main difficulties - a complicated geomentry of this signal light and half-transparent filament of the definite colour that is not easy to find.

We really wanted to succeed in this order, and that's what we've done - look!

that's what the fireman gave us as an example

Guys, is 3d-printing popular and widely spread in your place?

Sort:

That's cool. It does look like a complex shape. 3D printers are getting more popular here are they are cheaper and easy to use. I just got a Bambu Labs A1 and I'm very happy with it.

It seems the firemen were happy to install their new lens. Looks like a job well done. This kind of application shows the versatility of the additive manufacturing process, especially when supply chains prevent parts from being acquired via traditional routes.

Thanks!
