I feel kinda the same except that i usually have good memries with some russian friends. I like putin aswell. He got rolled alot by the west. It was a prmise that after reuniting germany the west wouldnt venture further more near to russia which has been broken several times. Also we cry when he does combat simulation, in his own territory while somewher near russia is always a combat simulation that the west does? That the western double morale and note i am a westerner too. Look what weaponry is surrounding russia and proi russia territories setup by the west.
Still i think invading ukraine was bad. Up to that point i somehow had faith in that we can take advantage of each other and be friends.
To sum it up: I prefer a politician that is straight out to most of german politicians with their shady double morale.
