I want to use this post to show an example of the kind of publications we love to see in the Gitplait community, and I will use the Brave Browser as an example. Brave has been around for quite a while, and I believe that most of the people here would know about it. However, it may be useful for some people. In a nutshell, Brave is a fast, open-source, secured, ads blocker and privacy browser. But the most interesting things is the reward mechanism that is incorporated on the browser.
This is what you do almost every day on Google chrome, watching ads with no value back for you are a user. But on Brave, you can control ads, and you can choose to click to mine the BAT token. Brave and BAT collaborated to give value to creators and users of the internet.
So, to the browser, you can download Brave on this site https://brave.com/ to your machine.
Once you download, follow the basic on-screen installation procedures. When done, click the Brave Reward on the side menu.
Here you can choose to enable or disable ads. If you want some free money, you should enable ads, when you click the setting, you can choose how you want to see ads on your Brave browser. The max there is 5 ads per hour. This will help you generate more BAT token. When you enable ads, you will get notifications for ads below your browser and a click gives you fractions of BAT. I don’t check how the reward flows in, but I have accumulated some BAT as shown.
There are lot more exciting features on the Brave browser, but this is just the Basic of mining BAT for using a better browser than Google chrome.
