This is one of the characters that marked my childhood, the Smiling Cat from Alice in Wonderland. I still don't know why, but as a child I was afraid of the smiling cat, maybe because of the way he appeared, first a smile suspended in the air, then a tail until his whole body materialized. That scared me, of course with the passing of the years the way of perceiving things changes and today he is one of my favorite characters in Alice in Wonderland. Today I was inspired by him to make this makeup. It is worth mentioning that I based my design on several makeups of this type that I saw on social networks. Aún no sé por qué, pero de niña le tenía miedo al gato sonriente, quizás por la forma en que aparecía, primero una sonrisa suspendida en el aire, luego una cola hasta que todo su cuerpo se materializaba. Eso me asustaba, claro que con el que al pasar de los años la forma de percibir las cosas cambia y hoy día es uno de mis personajes favoritos de Alicia en el País de las Maravillas. Este es uno de los personajes que marco mi infancia, el Gato Sonriente se Alicia en el País se las Maravillas. Aún no sé por qué, pero de niña le tenía miedo al gato sonriente, quizás por la forma en que aparecía, primero una sonrisa suspendida en el aire, luego una cola hasta que todo su cuerpo se materializaba. Eso me asustaba, claro que con el que al pasar de los años la forma de percibir las cosas cambia y hoy día es uno de mis personajes favoritos de Alicia en el País de las Maravillas. Step 1	Paso 1
I made up my eyebrows and then applied foundation all over my face. I used magenta and purple colors because this design is more inclined to the smiling cat from the Disney movie that was cartoonish. I applied color on the forehead going down to the temples and cheeks.	Maquillé mis cejas y luego apliqué base maquillaje en todo el rostro. Utilicé colores magenta y morado porque este diseño esta más inclinado al gato sonriente de la película de Disney que fue en dibujos animados. Apliqué color en la frente bajando hacia las sienes y mejillas

Step 2	Paso 2
Para maquillar los ojos utilicé un tono uva para hacer contraste y marque la línea de las pestañas inferiores de forma artificial con una distancia de medio centímetro de las pestañas reales. Luego apliqué sombra negra para acentuar un poco más el color y realicé las pestañas con delineador líquido negro	For the eye makeup I used a grape shade for contrast and artificially set the lower lash line half a centimeter away from the actual lashes. I then applied black shadow to accentuate the color a bit more and highlighted the lashes with black liquid eyeliner.

Step 3	Paso 3
With white body paint I made the characteristic smiling cat's mouth and with eyeliner I made vertical lines to define the teeth. With shadow in different shades of purple I made lines on the chest and neck interspersed with white stripes that I made with white body paint.	Con pintura corporal blanca realicé la característica boca del gato sonriente y con delineador realicé líneas verticales para definir los dientes. Con sombra en diferentes tonos morados realicé líneas en el pecho y cuello intercalando con franjas blancas que hice con pintura corporal blanca.


Finally I painted the nose in fuchsia color. Well friends, this is my smiling cat. I say goodbye until next time. Thanks for your attention. Bye bye.	Por último pinte la nariz en color fucsia. Bien amigos, este es mi gato sonriente. Me despido hasta la próxima. Gracias por su atención. Chao chao.
