The peacock is one of the most beautiful birds I have ever seen, of course I have not seen too many but the time I saw one in a zoo I could not stop admiring its splendor. It is amazing the iridescent color of its feathers that goes from green to turquoise with purple flashes. If I had to describe its beauty in one word it would be: mesmerizing. I fixed one eyebrow with school glue stick while the other one I brushed with soap and then with eyebrow polish and an angled brush I painted hairs to fill in the gaps with no eyebrows. I then outlined the edges with a flat brush and concealer. Next I applied foundation and sketched the peacock following the reference image. | Fijé una ceja con pegamento escolar en barra mientras que la otra la cepillé con jabón y luego con betún para cejas y un pincel angular pinte vellos para rellenar los espacios desprovistos de cejas. Luego perfilé los bordes con un pincel plano y corrector de ojeras. Seguidamente apliqué base para maquillaje y realicé el boceto del pavo real siguiendo la imagen de referencia. |

I applied the background colors which are basically blue and green in different shades except the wings which are yellow with some orange. I started working the darker tones on the edges continuing towards the area of to finish this part with a lime green all over the cheek. | Apliqué los colores de fondo que básicamente son azul y verde en distintos tonos excepto las alas que son amarillas con algo de naranja. Empecé trabajando los tonos más oscuros en los bordes siguiendo hacia la zona de para terminar esta parte con un verde limón en toda la mejilla. |

With blue shadow I made small circles bordered with yellow rings and again blue in another tone to make the characteristic eyes of the peacock feathers. I made the details of the flowers and leaves and applied glitter in some areas to give a little more shine. With white body paint I made the face of the bird and with black eyeliner I made the details of the head. | Con sombra azul realicé pequeños círculos bordeado de aros amarillo y nuevamente azul en otro tono para hacer los ojos característicos de las plumas de pavo real. Realicé los detalles de las flores y hojas y aplique glitter en algunas áreas para dar un poco más de brillo. Con pintura corporal blanca hice la cara del ave y con delineador negro hice los detalles de la cabeza.. |
The opposite eye I made up using olive green shadow and black eyeliner. The lips I lined with black pencil and filled in with blue liner pencil with glitter. Lastly, I applied some shimmer with turquoise shadow. This is the end of my peacock. Bye bye. | El ojo contrario lo maquillé usando sombra verde olivo y delineador negro. Los labios los delineé con lápiz negro y rellené con lápiz delinear azul con glitter. Por último apliqué unos destellos con sombra color turquesa. De esta manera termino mi pavo real. Chao chao. |
