Hola amixes, hoy vengo a mostrarles mi participación en la primera iniciativa de mi amiguita @chocopao y pues la verdad es que está fabulosa su idea, pueden leer aqui su post. Ella nos propone hacernos un maquillaje egipcio, luego de leer un poco en internet descubri que estos se maquillaban no para mejorar su apariencia nada más sino que lo empleaban con fines medicinales y de cuidado para la piel.

Hi amixes, today I come to show you my participation in the first initiative of my friend @chocopao and the truth is that her idea is fabulous, you can read here her post. She proposes to make us an Egyptian makeup, after reading a little on the internet I discovered that these were made up not only to improve their appearance but they used it for medicinal purposes and skin care.
Es un poco sorprendente los materiales que usaban para esto, sobretodo kohl en sus ojos y cejas, para sus mejillas óxido humedecido y algunos colorantes pero el más usado fue el azul.
It is a little surprising the materials they used for this, especially kohl in their eyes and eyebrows, for their cheeks moistened oxide and some dyes but the most used was blue.
A mí me gusta empezar pintando mis cejas, así evita que haga cualquier desastre y aparte son una parte primordial de nuestro rostro, puede cambiarnos la facción completamente. Bueno está vez usé un lápiz negro, las dibuje menos arqueadas y más rectas como es tendencia. Difuminé muy bien desde el final hasta el principio de mi ceja. Posteriormente también retoque con sombra negra mate y difuminé de nuevo. Con ayuda de una brocha angular corregí con base de alta cobertura.
I like to start by painting my eyebrows, it prevents me from making any mess and besides they are a primordial part of our face, it can change our face completely. Well this time I used a black pencil, I drew them less arched and more straight as it is trendy. I blended very well from the end to the beginning of my eyebrow. Then I also retouched with matte black shadow and blended again. With the help of an angled brush I corrected with high coverage foundation.
Antes de hacer mis cejas había preparado mi rostro con primer e hidratante facial activo, lo siguiente fue aplicar base y ayudándome con la beauty blender humedecida con agua de rosas la fui exparciendo por mi rostro a toques, una vez terminado sellé con polvo compacto.
Before doing my eyebrows I had prepared my face with primer and active facial moisturizer, the next thing was to apply foundation and helping me with the beauty blender moistened with rose water I spread it on my face with touches, once finished I sealed with pressed powder.
Con un pincel delgado hice la línea con sombra azul brillante dándole varios toques, luego con una brocha plana llena de corrector hice una especie de cut crease debajo de la línea, exparciendo muy bien el sobrante para luego aplicar una sombra brillante dorada en toda la parte inferior de la linea que había hecho.
With a thin brush I made the line with bright blue shadow giving it several touches, then with a flat brush filled with concealer I made a kind of cut crease under the line, spreading the excess very well and then apply a shiny golden shadow on the entire bottom of the line I had made.
Lo siguiente fue realizar mi delineado, primero el del párpado móvil deliando todo el borde y luego en el parpado inferior hasta llegar a la mitad de este, pinté mi línea de agua con lápiz negro para ojos. Apliqué un poco rubor y mucho iluminador dorado.
Next I did my eyeliner, first on the mobile eyelid lining the entire edge and then on the lower eyelid until I reached the middle of it, I painted my water line with a black eye pencil. I applied a little blush and a lot of gold highlighter.
Como no tenía labial azul primero apliqué un bálsamo para posteriormente rellenarlos con la misma sombra azul que use para mis ojos, hice una línea negra con delineador en el medio de mi labio inferior.
Since I didn't have blue lipstick I first applied a balm and then filled them in with the same blue shadow I used for my eyes, I did a black line with eyeliner in the middle of my lower lip.
Hacer este maquillaje estuvo muy divertido aparte de que estaba escuchando un playlist que me anima muchísimo, aunque no me encantaron las fotos en esta oportunidad pues me sentía poco fotogénica. Espero les haya gustado leerme, kisses💋💋
Doing this makeup was a lot of fun and I was listening to a playlist that cheers me up a lot, although I didn't love the pictures this time because I felt not very photogenic. I hope you enjoyed reading me, kisses💋💋
