Octubre además de ser el mes del terror, está catalogado como "el mes rosa" y es a causa de la prevención del cáncer de mama. Por eso dedico un espacio en mi blog, para conmemorar esta fecha que promueve la concientización y prevención de tan terrible enfermedad.

Los enseñaron a actuar cuando ya existe la condición, más no sobre cómo prevenirla. También pasa(como en mi caso), que nuestros padres siempre están detrás de nosotros, pero más puede nuestro desinterés, por decirlo así.

Cuando tenía 18 años comencé a controlarme con un ginecólogo, y a los 20 por razones personales tuve que cambiarme de consultorio. Pues resulta que en la primera consulta el Dr. que me atendió, cuando terminó de tomar la muestra para la citología, me mandó a quitarme la camisa y yo tipo: ¿Qué? ¡Este es un sádico! Jajajaja... Pues no amigos, el solo hizo eso para poder explorar el área de las mamas, cosa que mi primer ginecólogo no hizo jamás.

Además pasé la pena porque mi reacción no fué muy amigable y el Dr. al darse cuenta me explicó el por qué de ese procedimiento. A partir de ese momento, cada cierto tiempo me hago mi autoexamen y cuando voy al ginecólogo, ya no me sorprendo jajajaja...
