Review Faber Castell set 12 watercolors on skin
Hello everyone, I have been a little absent on the blog, I was quite busy for a few days and today I took the opportunity to post something but it really was because I was walking recently and I saw some watercolors and they were on sale, they were really cheap, it was like If the store gave them to you, hahahahaha, I think they really cost very cheap in the market, when I saw the price I was surprised and I couldn't resist and I had to take them and I ran to try them, I didn't have the watercolor paper and I didn't want to try them on an ordinary sheet and it occurred to me to do it on the skin, it is basically the same as makeup, I thought about the inks they sell in Korea.
Hola a todos, he estado un poco ausente en el blog, estuve unos días bastante ocupada y hoy me tomé la oportunidad de postear algo pero realmente fue porque hace poco estaba caminando y vi unas acuarelas y estaban en oferta, estaban realmente baratas, era como si la tienda te las regalara, jajajajaja, creo que realmente cuestan muy baratas en el mercado, yo cuando vi el precio me sorprendí y no pude resistirme y tuve que llevarmelas y fui corriendo a probarlas, no tenía el papel de acuarelas y no quería probarlas en una hoja corriente y se me ocurrió hacerla en la piel, es lo básicamente lo mismo que el maquillaje, pensé en las tintas que venden en Corea.
The truth is that I was not thinking of doing a post about this because I did not do the step by step I just got excited painting whatever and a landscape came out, so basically I don't have much to show you but at least I would like to leave you my opinion of these watercolors.
(Btw after weeks without checking my blog I see that @justeli has done similar work for days and they are very beautiful)
Working with watercolors can be really easy because you control how you want the color, it can go from a gradient to a fairly pigmented tone, despite being only a set of 12 colors, they are fine and they paint well, I made a bit of a mess and I messed up the other colors because I wanted to mix.
La verdad es que no pensaba hacer un post de esto porque no hice el paso a paso sólo me emocioné pintando lo que sea y salió un paisaje, entonces básicamente no tengo mucho para mostrarles pero al menos me gustaría dejarles mi opinión de estas acuarelas.

Trabajar con acuarelas puede ser realmente fácil porque tú controlas como deseas el color, puede ir de un gradiente hasta un tono bastante pigmentado, a pesar de ser solo un set de 12 colores, están bien y pintan bien, yo hice un poco de desastre y ensucié los otros colores porque quería realizar mezclas.
These watercolors are made of pills, I think it is very good for a beginner, I am not an expert with this, basically I do not know much in such a technical way, I am like a little girl who just wants to play, the excellent thing about these watercolors is that you can take them anywhere without having a lot of weight or a mess, at least these being pills you don't have to worry that your tube might break and make a mess, since the others are liquid paints, then it would have to be more careful.
This is not a professional set, this is pretty basic, it doesn't have many colors but you can mix some and create other shades, a lot of artists really like this about mixing their own colors. This set has synthetic color fill that is why its price is really low, this is something unprofessional school, but as I say, if you want to have fun or want to start drawing and trying new things, I recommend cheap things of this style to learn, then climb towards the professional, but I warn you that they are expensive especially because they bring many colors and the materials with which these paintings are made, some are rare and that makes them more expensive but the quality of the color is unsurpassed, mostly you buy these paintings separately and this raises the price much more to buy each color separately, so to learn it is also good to take advantage of the watercolor palettes.
I did not make a traditional watercolor drawing to fully test transparency and I did not create those gradient effects that are common enough with watercolors, it is the effect that it leaves naturally.
I wanted to test the permanence of the paint and I exposed it to the water tap and it passed my test, but of course this was only a moment, it is not the same when you do it on a canvas that will be exposed to moisture and light for a long time. Well this factor is to work directly on canvas.
Estas acuarelas son de pastillas, yo creo que es muy buena para un principiante, yo no soy una experta con esto, básicamente no sé mucho de forma tan técnica, soy como una niña pequeña que solo quiere jugar, lo excelente de estas acuarelas es que puedes llevarlas a cualquier lugar sin tener mucho peso o un desastre, por lo menos estas al ser de pastillas no tienes que preocuparte de que se te puedan romper el tubo y hacer un desastre, ya que las otras son pinturas líquidas, entonces habría que ser más cuidadosos.
Este no es un set profesional, esto es bastante básico, no tiene muchos colores pero puedes mezclar algunos y crear otros tonos, muchos artistas realmente les gusta esto de mezclar sus propios colores. Este set tiene relleno de colores sintéticos es por esto que su precio es realmente bajo, esto es algo escolar no profesional, pero como digo, si te quieres divertir o quieres empezar a dibujar y probar cosas nuevas, te recomiendo cosas baratas de este estilo para aprender, después ir escalando hacia lo profesional, pero te advierto que son costosas sobre todo porque traen muchísimos colores y los materiales con los que elaboran estas pinturas algunos son poco comunes y eso los hace más caro pero la calidad del color es insuperable, mayormente se compran estas pinturas por separado y esto eleva muchísimo más el precio comprar cada color por separados, por eso para aprender también es bueno aprovechar las paletas de acuarelas.
Yo no hice un dibujo tradicional de acuarela para probar por completo la transparencia y no cree esos efecto de gradiente que son lo bastante común con esto de las acuarelas, es el efecto que deja naturalmente.
Quise probar la permanencia de la pintura y la expuse al grifo de agua y pasó mi prueba, pero claro esto fue solo un momento, no es lo mismo cuando lo haces en un lienzo que va a estar expuesto a la humedad y la luz por mucho tiempo, bueno este factor es para trabajar directamente en cuadros.

In fact I used to have paintings, for years I used to have that habit of having paintings, and the truth is that this started because someone gave me some paintings that he bought in Italy that was the first time I had paintings in my life, that was many years ago and from there is this craziness, I really used them to do nonsense, I did not have the mentality to think of something artistic, I was a girl playing basically. Nowadays I challenge myself and observe the work of various artists, although I think more about this work for canvases but I will also mix with makeup for the body, (a crossover 😂) this is art, in the way come.
Siempre ha existido una parte de mi que admiraba la pintura, a mí me gusta mucho el arte en general, yo suelo ir mucho a museos y me encanta admirar, siempre me sorprendo de cómo es posible que la gente cree tantas maravillas y nunca había intentado realizar algo así por motivación propia siempre me quedaba observando desde las sombras y este año de cuarentena, pues tuve mucho tiempo libre, y algunos días que los invertía en maquillaje y después en privado quise finalmente animarme a crear algo pero es más algo personal porque suelo tener un complejo de perfeccionista, no es algo que quiero mostrar, pero esta experiencia que he ido teniendo me está gustando muchísimo, hice una especie de transición entre ser espectador a estar en los zapatos del artista. De hecho yo solía tener pinturas, desde hace años solía tener esa costumbre de tener pinturas, y la verdad esto empezó porque alguien me obsequio unas pinturas que compró en Italia esa fue la primera vez que tuve pinturas en mi vida, eso fue hace muchos años y desde ahí está esa locura, realmente las usé para hacer tonterías, no tenía la mentalidad para pensar en algo artístico, era una niña jugando básicamente. Hoy en día me pongo retos y observo el trabajo de varios artistas, aunque yo de esto pienso más en un trabajo para lienzos pero también haré una mezcla con el maquillaje para el cuerpo, (un crossover 😂) esto es arte, de la forma en que venga.

Hahaha I was thinking the same, works really good! But I love it to more an artistic painting than a regular makeup stuff I mean like eye shadow and that kind of regular stuff on the body
No sabía que las acuarelas pigmentaban tan bien en las manos! Imagino que fue un poco dificil porque las acuarelas son muy liquidas y se chorrean mucho, pero a ti se te ven super pigmentadas y condensadas donde deberían.

Sí claro hay que humedecer solamente no excederse y claro en esta ocasión para trabajar sobre capa hay que esperar un poco que este casi secándose

La verdad no las he utilizado en el rostro, hmmm, podría ser que sí, pero habría que revisar si no te hace daño
