¡Hola Hola Comunidad! ✨, añadiendo más compras rumbo a la graduación hoy le sumamos maquillaje, porque sí uno puede tener toda una gaveta llena de éstos productos y aún así sentir que falta algo 😂😂, y eso fue justamente lo que me pasó cuando comencé a practicar maquillajes para la graduación, me dí cuenta que me estaban faltando algunos productos, otros se estaban acabando y algunos vienen como reemplazo a otros que definitivamente no me gustan en cuanto a acabado, y dado que ese día estará lleno de fotos tanto mías como de los demás, hay que asegurarse que el maquillaje esté casi perfecto por bastante rato, así que por esa razón hoy les cuento qué estuve comprando y dónde 💖.
Hello Hello Community! ✨, Adding more purchases for graduation, today we're adding make-up, because even if you have a whole drawer full of these products, you can still feel like something is missing 😂😂, And that's exactly what happened to me when I started practising my graduation makeup. I realised that I was missing some products, others were running out, and some are replacements for others that I definitely don't like in terms of finish. And since that day will be full of photos of both me and everyone else, I have to make sure that my makeup is almost perfect for quite a while. So, for that reason, today I'm going to tell you what I bought and where 💖.
Arranco hablándoles un poco sobre la tienda a la que fuí, su nombre es Coquetas Makeup son tanto tienda virtual como física y están ubicados en el Bequito, carrera 19 con calle 28 (si son de Barquisimeto quizás sepan donde es), las chicas que me atendieron de verdad que fueron un amor y supieron guiarme y mostrarme opciones, menciono ésto porque últimamente he sentido en algunas tiendas que soy yo misma la que me tengo que vender 🤷🏻♀️, y aunque a mí me gusta tener ni espacio son que me persigan, a veces una simple pregunta no la quieren responder o se ven con mucho desconocimiento sobre lo que están vendiendo. Además de éso me dieron un regalito por mi compra, así que con eso me ganaron 💖, y sus precios fueron bastante cómodos para mi bolsillo, y eso que revisé en muchas tiendas.
I'll start by telling you a little bit about the shop I went to. It's called Coquetas Makeup and they have both an online and a physical shop. They're located in Bequito, on Carrera 19 and Calle 28 (if you're from Barquisimeto, you might know where that is). The girls who helped me were really lovely and knew how to guide me and show me options. I mention this because lately, I've felt that in some shops, I'm the one who has to sell myself 🤷🏻♀️, and although I like to have my space and not be hounded, sometimes they don't want to answer a simple question or seem very ignorant about what they're selling. On top of that, they gave me a little gift with my purchase, so they won me over 💖, and their prices were quite affordable for my budget, even though I checked many shops.
Pero ahora sí yendo al punto central de éste post, había dos productos indispensables en ésta compra, esos con los que de verdad no había negociación y era una base de maquillaje y un fijador. En éste caso la decisión de la base fue muy específica por dos razones, la primera es que en una oportunidad ya la había probado y la segunda es que tenía buenas referencias en cuanto a lo que promete, porque ya me pasó con la base “Matte” de Dolce Bella (la cual aún tengo) que realmente lo único que tiene de mate es el nombre porque del resto no tiene más nada 🤦🏻♀️, y obviamente para mi tipo de piel yo en serio necesito productos que sean mates y me ayuden con el brillo que normalmente adquiere mi piel.
Y justamente para ayudar con ese brillo y la durabilidad del maquillaje es que el segundo producto indispensable en ésta compra fue un fijador, en ésta ocasión me fuí por la marca Ushas porque también la he probado y la verdad me ha sorprendido de buena manera.
But now, getting to the main point of this post, there were two essential products in this purchase, ones that were non-negotiable: a foundation and a setting spray. In this case, the decision on the foundation was very specific for two reasons: firstly, I had already tried it once, and secondly, I had heard good things about what it promises, because I had already had a bad experience with Dolce Bella's ‘Matte’ foundation (which I still have), where the only thing matte about it is the name, because nothing else is matte 🤦🏻♀️. and obviously, for my skin type, I really need products that are matte and help with the shine that my skin normally acquires.
And precisely to help with that shine and the durability of the makeup, the second essential product in this purchase was a setting spray. This time, I went for the Ushas brand because I've also tried it and, honestly, I've been pleasantly surprised.

El segundo producto de ésta lista va hacía la zona de los ojos, porque me dí cuenta que a pesar de tener una paleta de sombras con diversos tonos, los únicos colores en los que falla un poco son justamente los que más necesito para mi maquillaje de graduación y son los marrones, específicamente los tonos de marrón más oscuros y fríos, y aunque originalmente ésta en específico no era la que andaba buscando, porque ésta es la #6 y yo quería la #4, igualmente me viene bastante bien, aparte que los tonos shimmer están preciosos.
A partir del tercer producto ya nos vamos más a los antojos 😂, o mejor dicho, por esas cosas que desde hace tiempo quería comprar y no había podido así que decidí incluirlas aquí, como es el caso de éste Lip Gloss de tono rojo, que no es realmente rojo intenso sino que una vez puesto en el labio da una apariencia de tinta muy bello, y se ve bastante natural sin serlo del todo 😂.
The second product on this list is for the eye area, because I realised that despite having an eyeshadow palette with various shades, the only colours it lacks are precisely the ones I need most for my graduation makeup, which are browns, specifically darker and cooler shades of brown. And although this one wasn't originally what I was looking for, because this is #6 and I wanted #4, it still works quite well for me, plus the shimmer shades are gorgeous.
From the third product onwards, we're moving on to more of a whim 😂, or rather, those things I've wanted to buy for a long time and haven't been able to, so I decided to include them here, as is the case with this red lip gloss, which isn't really bright red but once applied to the lips gives a very beautiful ink-like appearance, and looks quite natural without being entirely so 😂.

Otro antojo fue éste lapiz delineador de Salomé el cual tiene excelente referencias y ya lo usé, así que confirmo dichas referencias, y lo escogí en un tono nude que de verdad quedó perfecto con mi labio porque así se hace más fácil combinarlo con cualquier color de labial que es justamente lo que quiero, para mayor provecho y versatilidad. Además últimamente estoy siguiendo bastante la tendencia del lip combo y cada vez me va saliendo mejor 🤭.
Y finalmente las compras cierran von éstos productos que son de mi hermana, pero que probablemente yo también use 😂😂, o mejor dicho que ya usé, y que de momento lo que no me termina de convencer es la máscara de pestañas, no porque sea mala sino porque ya me acostumbré a la morada de Dolce Bella.
Another impulse buy was this Salomé eyeliner pencil, which has excellent reviews. I've already used it, so I can confirm those reviews. I chose a nude shade that really suits my lips because it makes it easier to combine with any lipstick colour, which is exactly what I want for greater versatility and to get more use out of it. Also, lately I've been following the lip combo trend quite a bit and I'm getting better and better at it 🤭.
And finally, the purchases are rounded off with these products, which are my sister's, but which I will probably use too 😂😂, or rather, which I have already used. At the moment, the only thing I'm not entirely convinced about is the mascara, not because it's bad, but because I'm already used to Dolce Bella's purple one.
