Verónica nos anima a responder una serie de preguntas, esto con el fin de conocer un poco más de nuestra trayectoria y contacto con el mundo del maquillaje además de nuestro amor por este arte, es por ello que hoy tengo en mente realizarles un recuento retrospectivo de algunos de mis trabajos dentro de #hive así que ¡Empecemos!

¿A qué edad iniciaste en el mundo del maquillaje?
Inicie con propiedad en el mundo del maquillaje diría que a principios del 2019, y debo ser honesta comentadoles que mi lista de productos era sumamente reducida, no contaba con todo lo que se necesitaba sin embargo trabajaba y practicaba con lo poco que tenía. Recuerdo que por las tardes me maquillaba en casa y enviaba fotos a mi amiga @cleydimar2000 y ella siempre respondía "¿Y a dónde vas?" mi respuesta más común era: "A ningún lado, solo estoy practicando" siempre nos reíamos de ello, pues era muy tonto para nosotras en ese momento hacer un maquillaje solo porque si.
At what age did you start in the world of makeup?
I started properly in the world of makeup I would say at the beginning of 2019, and I must be honest telling you that my list of products was extremely reduced, I didn't have everything that was needed but I worked and practiced with the little I had. I remember that in the afternoons I would do my makeup at home and send pictures to my friend @cleydimar2000 and she would always reply "And where are you going?" my most common answer was: "Nowhere, I'm just practicing" we would always laugh about it, because it was very silly for us at that time to do makeup just because.
Cuando entre a #hive me interese mucho más por el maquillaje, me enfoqué en aprender y estudiar nuevas técnicas, seguir tendencias y dejar volar mi creatividad siento que esto ha Sido de las mejores elecciones de mi vida, me he nutrido muchísimo gracias a esto tanto a nivel personal como profesional, y aunque veo al maquillaje como un hobby hasta los momentos, sé qué podría ir más allá si me lo propongo. 🙏🏽💞
La verdad antes me sentía cohibida de salir a la calle con maquillajes muy cargados, pues me daba miedo que la gente se me quedara mirando, un punto que actualmente ha cambiado mucho, pues ya no me avergüenza que me vean de hecho estoy muy orgullosa de lo que hago y todo lo que he logrado. 💜
When I joined #hive I became much more interested in makeup, I focused on learning and studying new techniques, following trends and letting my creativity fly, I feel that this has been one of the best choices of my life, I have been nourished a lot thanks to this both personally and professionally, and although I see makeup as a hobby so far, I know I could go further if I set my mind to it. 🙏🏽💞
The truth before I felt self-conscious to go out in the street with heavy makeup, because I was afraid that people would stare at me, a point that has now changed a lot, because I am no longer ashamed to be seen in fact I am very proud of what I do and all that I have achieved. 💜
¿Te maquillas para el diario o lo haces solo en ocasiones especiales?
Hace pocos días le comentaba a @kevinjrr que cuando me encontraba entre mis 15 y 16 años siempre que salía debía aplicarme más rubor que cualquier cosa en mi rostro, también hablaba con mis amigas @yaderlin @harecova y @march31 mi antigua forma de maquillar mis cejas (lápiz ¡que horror!) y mis labiales de colores neones lo cual era el último grito de la moda en mi país en dicho momento hahahaha. Sin duda alguna hace algunos años no podía salir sin algo de maquillaje a la calle, creo que influyó mucho el hecho de que al cumplir mis 15 años ya tenía permiso de utilizar cosméticos, cosa que antes no se me permitía así que supongo que por ello me sentía tan emocionada de usarlos a cada momento.
Do you wear makeup on a daily basis or do you do it only on special occasions?
A few days ago I was commenting to @kevinjrr that when I was between my 15 and 16 years old whenever I went out I had to apply more blush than anything else on my face, I was also talking to my friends @yaderlin @harecova and @march31 my old way of doing my eyebrows (pencil what a horror!) and my neon colored lipsticks which was all the rage in fashion in my country at that time hahahaha. Without a doubt a few years ago I couldn't go out without some makeup on the street, I think it influenced a lot the fact that when I turned 15 I was allowed to use cosmetics, something that I wasn't allowed to do before so I guess that's why I felt so excited to use them all the time.
Actualmente no me maquillo para el dario, me gusta permitirle a mi piel respirar. Yo opto por mantener mis cejas depiladas y mis labios hidratados, cuento con la suerte de no sufrir de acné así que me es sumamente fácil salir a la calle sin maquillaje en mi día a día. Otro factor que influye es mi estado de ánimo, ya que soy una chica que si está de buen humor puede maquillar un poco sus cejas, rizar sus pestañas y aplicar un lindo labial a sus labios en un determinado día e irse a la universidad, pero si no me encuentro muy motivada pueden jurar que me iré con el rostro lavado e igual me sentiré bien ante el público.
No obstante en las ocasiones especiales me gusta maquillarme un poco para resaltar, nunca está de más practicar lo aprendido en la vida real. 🥰💞
Nowadays I don't wear makeup for the dario, I like to allow my skin to breathe. I opt to keep my eyebrows plucked and my lips moisturized, I am lucky enough to not suffer from acne so it is extremely easy for me to go out without makeup in my day to day life. Another factor is my mood, I am a girl that if she is in a good mood she can put a little makeup on her eyebrows, curl her eyelashes and apply a nice lipstick to her lips on a certain day and go to college, but if I am not very motivated you can swear that I will go with a washed face and still feel good in front of the public.
However on special occasions I like to put on a little makeup to stand out, it never hurts to practice what I've learned in real life. 🥰💞
¿Qué te motiva a maquillarte y por qué?
Me motiva a maquillarme el hecho de poder superarme a mi misma, me hace sentirme súper orgullosa realizar una mirada retrospectiva y admirar mi evolución en el mundo del maquillaje, cada día aprendo algo nuevo y también me vuelvo capaz de lograr cosas que en su momento pensé que no era digna de alcanzar. El maquillaje me ha ayudado a autoexigirme, además gracias a éste arte he conocido a personas increíbles como mis amigas @marytp20 y @mariangeltp, me he vuelto más segura de mi misma y gracias a esto he alcanzado algunas metas a nivel personal que me han hecho sentir una mujer realizada en mi corta edad.
What motivates you to apply makeup and why?
I am motivated to do makeup by the fact that I can surpass myself, it makes me feel super proud to take a look back and admire my evolution in the world of makeup, every day I learn something new and I also become capable of achieving things that at the time I thought I was not worthy of achieving. Makeup has helped me to push myself, also thanks to this art I have met amazing people like my friends @marytp20 and @mariangeltp, I have become more confident and thanks to this I have achieved some goals on a personal level that have made me feel a fulfilled woman in my young age.
¿Qué consejo darías a l@s chic@s nuevos en esta comunidad?
Mi consejo como siempre será el mismo que le transmito a todos mis amigos cuando inician en la plataforma "Sean constantes y no se rindan" con fé, paciencia, esfuerzo y trabajo duro podemos lograr cualquier cosa.
What advice would you give to those new to this community?
My advice as always will be the same that I transmit to all my friends when they start on the platform "Be constant and do not give up" with faith, patience, effort and hard work we can achieve anything.
Recuerdo que cuando inicie creando contenido en #makeuppower admiraba mucho el trabajo de otras hivers, algunas veces sentía que no estaba a la altura de esta comunidad ya que era una chica que realizaba maquillajes muy sencillos y además me fotografiaba en el garage de mi casa porque era el lugar más iluminado, y el sitio donde el teléfono que tenía en aquel momento podía capturar una mejor fotografía, aunque el fondo no era el más indicado y la resolución de mis fotos no era la mejor, eso no me detuvo, seguí practicando y trabajando además invertí tanto en mí como en nuevos recursos para mi trabajo, eso convirtió el crear contenido una actividad más sencilla y gratificante. Obtuve un nuevo celular, amplíe mi gama de productos, invertí en iluminación, estudié un poco de fotografía básica y mostré mi mejor actitud. Así empecé a notar los frutos de mi trabajo duro, les compartiré un antes y después, ustedes podrán sacar sus propias conclusiones.
I remember when I started creating content in #makeuppower I admired the work of other hivers, sometimes I felt that I was not at the height of this community because I was a girl who made very simple makeup and also I photographed in the garage of my house because it was the best lit place, and the place where the phone I had at that time could capture a better picture, although the background was not the most appropriate and the resolution of my photos was not the best That didn't stop me, I kept practicing and working, and I invested in myself and in new resources for my work, which made creating content easier and more rewarding. I got a new cell phone, expanded my product range, invested in lighting, studied some basic photography and showed my best attitude. So I started to notice the fruits of my hard work, I will share with you a before and after, you can draw your own conclusions.
Lo único que puedo decirles es que sean constantes, el trabajo duro trae sus frutos. Exigirse a uno mismo es lo mejor que podemos hacer para crecer y cumplir nuestros sueños.
All I can tell you is to be consistent, hard work pays off. Demanding ourselves is the best thing we can do to grow and fulfill our dreams.

Me gusto mucho tu post, algo similar me pasó. Yo también sentía vergüenza a la hora de salir con maquillajes súper cargados, creo que más que todo era porque no se veía algo limpio y prolijo, ya que confundían con una mancha en el ojo jajajaja, ahora amo las técnicas Glam y full color. Cuando no intento nuevas tendencias como la técnica Samurai o Squiggle siento que falta maquillaje en mi rostro. Al igual que tu, no me gusta maquillarme para el diario todos me dicen "maquilladora y no te maquillas ni siquiera un poquito?" Y de verdad es que me da mucha pereza jajaja ya que no tengo un Maquillaje sencillo, cuando me maquillo es para hacer una buena cobertura y ahí no paro. Me gustó mucho tu post en serio, me identifique y no suelo hacer comentarios tan largos 😂❤️
Holaaa @makeup.byidy que alegría verte por mi blog. ❤️ La verdad tienes razón, conozco ese sentimiento al maquillarme y pensar "vamos con todo, si no pa' qué?" Jajajaja. Todo es cuestión de evolucionar, así vamos a notar los cambios y caeremos en cuenta que ya no estamos saliendo a la calle con "una mancha en ojo" 🤣🤣
