#MakeupChallenge - FLORES(Cayena) 🌺/ FLOWERS (Cayenne)

Hola amigos! El día de hoy les traigo mi participación para el Makeup Challenge de esta semana de @lucianav y @ambarvegas, y el tema es FLORES. Las flores son un regalito de la naturaleza que yo adoro admirar. Sus colores, texturas, aromas, y distintas formas me hacen pensar en lo mágico que es la naturaleza. Me encantan las rosas como un regalo, y las orquídeas por su color y por lo resistentes que son. Sin embargo, mi maquillaje de hoy está inspirado en una flor que tiene un significado especial para mi, la cayena. A continuación les cuento la historia:

Hello friends! Today I bring you my participation for this week's Makeup Challenge of @lucianav and @ambarvegas, and the theme is FLOWERS. The flowers are a little gift of nature that I love to admire. Their colors, textures, aromas, and different forms make me think about how magical nature is. I love roses as a gift, and orchids for their color and how resistant they are. However, my makeup today is inspired by a flower that has a special meaning for me, the Cayenne. Here's the story:

Cuando estaba pequeña mi papá me pasaba buscando al colegio y regresábamos a casa caminando. En el camino, cerca del Liceo Sucre, y en la plaza que está al frente de la iglesia catedral de cumaná veíamos muchas cayenas. No sé como ocurrió (probablemente a mi papá se le ocurrió la idea) pero de pronto hicimos el hábito de tomar una flor todos los días, inventar una poesía y llevársela a mi mamá. Cuando llegábamos a casa, yo le entregaba emocionada la cayena a mi mami y le recitaba los versos que inventamos. Algunos versos eran de cariño, otros de agradecimiento, y otros muy cómicos. Lo cierto, es que era un ejercicio creativo que me unía mucho a mi papá y a mi mamá. Hoy lo recuerdo como una hermosa anécdota de mi infancia. Por eso, este maquillaje y post está dedicado a mi mami, te envío una cayena virtual @aurodivys

When I was little, my dad used to pick me up from school and we walked home. On the way, near the Liceo Sucre, and in the square in front of the cathedral church in Cumaná we would see many Cayenne. I don't know how it happened (my dad probably came up with the idea) but suddenly we made a habit of taking a flower every day, inventing a poem and taking it to my mom. When we got home, I would excitedly hand the cayenne to my mommy and recite the verses we had invented. Some verses were of love, others of gratitude, and others were very funny. The truth is that it was a creative exercise that brought me closer to my mom and dad. Today I remember it as a beautiful anecdote from my childhood. That's why this makeup and post is dedicated to my mom, I'm sending you a virtual cayenne @aurodivys

Para realizar el maquillaje apliqué en mi rostro limpio base, corrector y polvo. Siempre empiezo por lo que más me genera ansiedad/emoción, entonces empecé por dibujar la cayena. Realicé la forma de la flor y rellené con sombras rojas, dibujé una ramita, y el tallo característico que sobresale de la flor. Le di profundidad a la cayena con sombras negras y blancas. El maquillaje de los ojos fue muy sencillo, amarrillo desde el centro hasta el lagrimal, y sombra roja desde el centro al extremo del ojo. Y sobre la sombra amarilla apliqué una sombra de brillos amarilla. Ahora bien, la parte más divertida fue la siguiente. Para darle más vida a la cayena la rellené con tempera roja y con negro en el centro. Remarqué la ramita de la flor con tempera verde y luego hice puntitos amarillos y rojos en el tallo, que es lo más característico de esta flor. Y listo!!

To make the makeup I applied on my clean face base, concealer and powder. I always start with what generates the most anxiety/emotion in me, so I started by drawing the cayenne. I made the shape of the flower and filled it with red shadows, I drew a twig, and the characteristic stem that protrudes from the flower. I gave depth to the cayenne with black and white shadows. The eye makeup was very simple, yellow from the center to the teardrop, and red shadow from the center to the end of the eye. And on the yellow shadow I applied a yellow glitter shadow. Now, the funniest part was the next one. To give more life to the cayenne, I filled it with red tempera and black in the center. I marked the flower's twig with green tempera and then made little yellow and red dots on the stem, which is the most characteristic of this flower. And that's it!

¿Qué les parece? Yo estoy muy contenta con el resultado que obtuve, de verdad me emocionó mucho realizar este maquillaje. Espero se animen a participar<3.
