Holaaa! Nuevamente yo en el reto de esta semana. Cuando digo que un tema me gusta, es porque me gusta en serio y me vuelvo un poco intensa. Esta vez vengo con mi tercera participación al reto de @lucianav y @ambarvegas que consiste en un maquillaje inspirado en una obra de arte. Esta será la última vez, lo prometo (Espero), jajajaja.
Hello! Its me again in this week's challenge. When I say that I like a theme, it's because I really like it and I get a little intense. This time I come with my third participation to the challenge of @lucianav and @ambarvegas that consists of a makeup inspired by a work of art. This will be the last time, I promise (I hope), hahaha.
Hace unos días conversaba con @evelynchacin sobre este reto, y nos estábamos enviando ideas de cuáles obras de arte nos podíamos realizar. Ella me envió una fotografía de la obra "El beso" de Gustav Klimt, y me pareció realmente muy hermosa pero algo difícil de realizar. Por eso, opté por hacerme otros maquillajes que me parecieron más sencillos, sin embargo, finalmente me pareció una buena idea intentar realizar un maquillaje inspirado en la obra de Klimt a ver qué tal me salía.
A few days ago I was talking with @evelynchacin about this challenge, and we were sending each other ideas of which works of art we could make. She sent me a photograph of Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss", and I thought it was really beautiful but a bit difficult to make. So, I decided to do other make-ups that seemed simpler to me, however, in the end I thought it was a good idea to try to do a make-up inspired by Klimt's work and see how it turned out.

Para este maquillaje hice los pasos que realizo siempre, limpiar mi cara y aplicar base, corrector y polvo compacto en mi rostro. Luego, apliqué una sombra marrón/rojiza en la cuenca de mi ojo hacia arriba, y difuminé bien. Luego, hice la técnica que me tiene obsesionada últimamente, el "cut crease", que consiste en aplicar sombras en el ojo y luego "cortar" visualmente el párpado móvil aplicando corrector sobre este. Así, se pueden apreciar las primeras sombras que aplicaste sobre la cuenca del ojo, y en el párpado móvil la sombra nueva, que suele ser más clara que las anteriores. Así pues, luego de hacerme el "cut crease", apliqué sombras amarillas y verdes en el párpado móvil. Una vez que terminé con los ojos, e hice mis cejas, quise añadir objetos alusivos a la obra de arte escogida.
For this makeup I did the steps I always do, clean my face and apply foundation, concealer and compact powder on my face. Then, I applied a brown/red shade in my eye socket upwards, and blended well. Then I did the technique that has obsessed me lately, the "cut crease", which consists of applying shadows to the eye and then visually "cutting" the mobile eyelid by applying concealer on it. In this way, you can see the first shadows you applied to the eye socket, and on the mobile eyelid the new shadow, which is usually lighter than the previous ones. So, after doing the "cut crease", I applied yellow and green shadows on the mobile eyelid. Once I finished with the eyes, and did my eyebrows, I wanted to add allusive objects to the chosen work of art.
En principio coloqué sombra amarilla en gran parte del lado izquierdo de mi rostro, y dibujé en mi mejilla un círculo verde, y dentro de este, círculos rojos. También dibujé un par de círculos rojos en el lateral de mi ojo izquierdo, utilizando un lápiz rojo, y unas "estrellas" sobre mis cejas con lápiz blanco, intentando imitar algunos de los objetos que aparecen en la pintura.
At first I placed yellow shadows on a large part of the left side of my face, and I drew a green circle on my cheek, and inside it, red circles. I also drew a couple of red circles on the side of my left eye, using a red pencil, and some "stars" over my eyebrows with a white pencil, trying to imitate some of the objects that appear in the painting.
