The reason I am sharing some of the photographs on this community, is only to showcase the beauty and the make-up power we provide to the different Murti.
Murti is generally a Sanskrit word which stands for an image, statue or idol of a deity or mortal in Hindu culture. Today, I get an opportunity to share one such glimpse of an idol, which is hugely decorated with artificial colours and jewelery, to looks like a real image.
This actually tye sculpture of Goddess Saraswati, who is worshipped in India for art, creativity and goddess of knowledge..
Saraswati symbolizes creative energy and is considered as the goddess of knowledge, music, art, wisdom, and learning. In many parts of the country, it is considered as an auspicious day for kids to write their first words with their fingers/pen/pencil or study some creative art field.
Such kind of statue made up of Mud, or Plaster of Paris can easily be found along the roadside. Infact, just days before the festival the colours and mood can be observed throughout each state of the country.
If we look closely, it was decorated just to give a feel of real life sculpture. Each part were made to look like a human body. And then it was decorated with jewelery, and other ornaments to give a natural look of goddess.
Looking at some of the fine make-up power ppst lately, I just love to share this figurine to let the world know about the different colours of India. No only humans, but in real the sculpture and images were also decorated to give a real life feel. All decoration were done out of imagination and Indians just celebrate the ocassuon with full enthusiasm.
वाह बड़े भाई बहुत है सुंदर ❤️❤️🙏
