What does makeup mean to me?
As a child I participated in the queen contests that were held at school and for me those moments were special because my mother always took care to make me look very pretty, she was in charge of my wardrobe, hair and makeup.
So ever since I was a little girl I have had a taste for highlighting beauty and not just in myself, but in the people around me. I started to practice this art as a hobby with myself and my mother, it turns out that later I would fix her hahaha, that's life.
Sometimes my aunts and friends would ask me to do their make-up.
And the fact is that makeup goes beyond painting or covering up imperfections, it makes us feel more secure, it can open doors to many work opportunities, to make dreams come true and even to start a business.
When I graduated from high school I started working in a hairdresser's shop where I had already done a course in hair braiding, this is where I got excited about make-up, I had the opportunity to do make-up for some girls who were waiting for the owner of the hairdresser's shop which was very busy and the girls asked if I knew how to do make-up, I answered yes. Full of nerves but confident that I could do something nice, mekeup the first girl and I saw her reaction delighted and very confident about the result, for me it was the best feeling in the world, after so much time the hobby gave me good results. So I finished making up the other girls, who by the way were all going to a wedding and were very happy, somehow they made me feel more confident about what I was doing.
And here I am learning every day, being a rookie still, I still have a lot to learn but I am enjoying my beginnings. I hope to learn more, improve and make many people happy.

¿Qué significado tiene el maquillaje para mi?
De niña participaba en los concursos de reinas que se hacían en la escuela y para mí esos momentos eran especiales porque mi madre siempre se preocupaba de que estuviera muy guapa, se encargaba de mi vestuario, del pelo y del maquillaje.
Así que desde que era una niña he tenido el gusto de resaltar la belleza y no sólo en mí misma, sino en la gente que me rodea. Empecé a practicar este arte como un hobby conmigo y con mi madre, resulta que más tarde la arreglaría jajaja, así es la vida.
En ocasiones mis tías y amigas me pedían que les hiciera un maquillaje.
Y es que el maquillaje va más allá de pintar o tapar las imperfecciones, nos hace sentir más seguras, puede abrir las puertas a muchas oportunidades de trabajo, para hacer realidad los sueños e incluso para iniciar un negocio.
Al graduarme de bachiller comencé a trabajar en una peluquería donde ya había hecho un curso de trenzados para el cabello, aquí fue donde me entusiasme por el maquillaje, tuve la oportunidad de maquillar a unas chicas que estaban esperando por la dueña de la peluquería la cual estaba muy ocupada y las chicas preguntaron si yo sabía maquillar, yo respondí que si. Llena de nervios pero confiada en que podía hacer algo bonito, maquillé a la primera chica y vi su reacción encantada y muy segura por el resultado, para mi fue la mejor sensación del mundo, después de tanto tiempo el hobby me dio buenos frutos. Así que termine de maquillar a las demás chicas, que por cierto todas iban para una boda y quedaron muy contentas, de alguna manera me hicieron sentir más segura de lo que estaba haciendo.
Y aquí estoy aprendiendo cada día, siendo aún novata, todavía tengo mucho que aprender pero estoy disfrutando de mis comienzos. Espero aprender más, mejorar y hacer feliz a mucha gente.
