Hace algún tiempo, quise crear un maquillaje inspirado en Venom y hoy aproveché la ocasión. El personaje es un sensible simbionte extraterrestre con una forma amorfa y semilíquida, que sobrevive a través de la unión con un huésped, generalmente humano. Dicho esto, quiero que sepan que la película de este personaje es una de mis favoritas porque es muy entretenida de principio a fin, tiene humor, acción y aunque Venom tenía un propósito, se convirtió en bueno y salvó a la humanidad. Además, su relación con su humano es muy divertida y a pesar de su apariencia logró encajar, algo que no pudo hacer entre su raza porque siempre se sintió diferente a los demás. Veamos cómo me he maquillado.

Some time ago, I wanted to create a make-up inspired by Venom and today I took advantage of the occasion. The character is a sensitive extraterrestrial symbiont with an amorphous, semi-liquid form, which survives through union with a host, usually human. Having said that, I want you to know that this character's movie is one of my favorites because it is very entertaining from beginning to end, it has humor, action and even though Venom had a purpose, he became good and saved humanity. Besides, his relationship with his human is very funny and despite his looks he managed to fit in, something he could not do among his race because he always felt different from the others. Let's see how I did my makeup.

Lo primero que hice fue dibujar la boca de Venom con un lápiz marrón para tener mi guía, luego la llené con una esponja y pintura negra. Para hacerlo más bonito, limpié los bordes con un paño y alcohol.

The first thing I did was to draw Venom's mouth with a brown pencil to have my guide, then I filled it in with a sponge and black paint. To make it more beautiful I cleaned the edges with a cloth and alcohol.

Entonces empecé a pintar los dientes con pintura blanca y un pincel que no era muy bueno, pero el desorden que hacía daba un aspecto más aterrador al maquillaje, entonces con la esponja pinté en blanco lo que sería la lengua y la cubrí de rojo. También añadí ese rojo a los dientes.

Then I started to paint the teeth with white paint and a brush that wasn't very good, but the mess it made make gave a scarier look to the makeup, then with the sponge I painted in white what would be the tongue and covered it with red. I also added that red to the teeth.

Para los ojos del personaje, decidí añadirlo como un detalle en las cejas porque no tenía para cubrirme todo el ojo como yo realmente quería, usé una esponja con pintura blanca, limpié los bordes y apliqué la base en el centro de la frente. A los bordes de lo que serían los ojos de Venom hice una lineas en negro como una mascara fijándose al rostro como se muestra en la película. Después arregle las cejas e hice un maquillaje de ojos en tonos morado y marrón. Agregue más detalles en la boca dibujando las líneas y en el cuello añadí color negro con una esponja, hice lo mismo en la frente.

For the character's eyes, I decided to add it as a detail on my eyebrows because I didn't have to cover the whole eye as I really wanted, I used a sponge with white paint, cleaned the edges and applied base in the center of the forehead. To the edges of what would be Venom's eyes I made a black line as a mask fixing to the face as shown in the movie. Then I arranged the eyebrows and made an eye makeup in shades of purple and brown. I added more details in the mouth drawing the lines and in the neck I added black color with a sponge, I did the same in the forehead.

Ahora dejaré unas fotografías donde puedan apreciar los detalles y el resultado del maquillaje, espero que les guste mucho, a mi me gustó cada detalle porque mostraban a Venom y ni siquiera tuve que pintarme toda la cara y lo hubiera hecho pero no iba a quedar como yo quería.

Now I will leave some photographs where you can appreciate the details and the result of the makeup, I hope you like it very much, I liked every detail because they showed Venom and I didn't even have to paint my whole face and I would have done it but it wasn't going to look like I wanted.

Me encantó hacer este tipo de maquillaje, nunca había elaborado nada parecido, no creía que pudiera hacerlo pero estaba feliz de ver el resultado, seguiré practicando para mejorar y hacer un mejor trabajo.

I loved doing this kind of makeup, I had never elaborated anything like it, I didn't think I could do it but I was happy to see the result, I will keep practicing to improve and do a better job.
