Estas imágenes fueron tomadas un día de octubre de 2022, en horas de la mañana (con iluminación aceptable) en el Vicerectorado de la UNELLEZ, un sitio histórico y emblemático, donde nació en 1.821 el primer liceo de latinoamérica: El Liceo Unda y hoy en día funciona allí el Vicerectorado de Producción Agrícola de la Universidad Nacional Experimental de los Llanos occidentales Ezequiel Zamora (UNELLEZ)

Esta es la fachada del Vicerrectorado de la UNELLEZ en Guanare Venezuela. Es una obra de arte de estilo colonial, propia de edificaciones de carácter religioso, de lo que fue un convento religioso católico que luego se convirtió en un colegio de enseñanza y de allí a ser el Liceo Unda, el primer líceo de latinoamérica quien para el 2025, cumplirá 200 años de fundación.
Cabe destacar que al momento de contar con sede propia, el liceo se mudó y esta estructura pasó a ser sede del Vicerectorado de Producción Agrícola de la UNELLEZ.He aquí parte de su fachada, de puertas enormes con más historias que una biblia...

This is the facade of the UNELLEZ Vice President in Guanare Venezuela. It is a colonial-style work of art, typical of buildings of a religious nature, of what was a Catholic religious convent that later became a teaching college and from there became the Unda High School, the first high school in Latin America who, for the 2025, will celebrate 200 years of foundation.

Entramos a sus pasillos en donde se dictan las clases de posgrados a nivel de especializaciones, maestrías y doctorados. Es un lugar muy tranquilo donde el visitante se transporta al pasado. Pareciera que el tiempo no ha tocado este lugar; demás está decir la paz que se respira como en tiempos de antaño...

Estos son los jardínes centrales del vicerrectorado, allí encontramos una estatua de Monseñor Jose Vicente de Unda, personaje religioso que tuvo gran relevancia en la Independencia, siendo firmante por nuestro pueblo, en el Acta de indepencia del 05 de julio de 1.811. Quien además ayudó al Libertador Simón Bolívar en su paso por Guanare durante la Campaña Admirable.

These are the central gardens of the vice-rectorate, there we find a statue of Monsignor Jose Vicente de Unda, a religious character who had great relevance in the Independence, being a signatory for our people, in the Act of independence of July 5, 1811. Who also helped the Liberator Simón Bolívar on his way through Guanare during the Admirable Campaign.

Esto que vemos aquí fue el primer acueducto de agua potable de la ciudad. Con el tiempo la ciudad creció y tuvo que idear otras alternativas para proveer de agua a la población guanareña.
Hoy en día, el servicio del preciado líquido es suministrado por los pozos de muchas barriadas y el transporte del líquido desde la Planta Potabilizadora que se surte del Embalse "La Coromoto" hasta el centro de la ciudad.
Sirvan las fotos de testimonio de lo que fue un viejo acueducto, que cubrió las necesidades de higiene y sed de tantas generaciones

What we see here was the first drinking water aqueduct in the city. Over time, the city grew and had to devise other alternatives to provide water to the population of Guanajuato.
Today, the service of the precious liquid is supplied by wells in many neighborhoods and the transport of the liquid from the Water Treatment Plant that is supplied from the "La Coromoto" Reservoir to the center of the city.
