Assessment appears pretty accurate, owned a smart vehicle ran up good mileage, perhaps the log cabin was a place to call home for short spells between outings, sounds good!
Now a fella could be pretty happy in the woods like that, a stretcher bed, good napsack, bottle of Jack, some coffee, vehicle is road worthy and well maintained, air rifle, one sighted security system what a great life!

Those Discovery Land Rovers are Chelsea tractors! Expensive beasts and bad gas economy. At least they were in the nineties.
Enjoyed glugging loads of gas, but sure were sturdy and held their own under most conditions.
