DIE CHIRURGIE
Today is the third and final part of my article about the Beelitz sanatoriums. The surgery is the last building to be built on the site. Since 1930, tuberculosis patients could be treated in three operating theatres. The building was constructed in a different style to the other buildings. The equipment is also different. Among other things, lifts were installed in the surgery department. The building has been badly damaged by vandalism. A few years ago, some lunatics vandalised the entrance area with a stolen wheel bearing.
Heute gibt es den dritten und letzten Teil meines Beitrages über die Beelitzer Heilstätten. Die Chirurgie ist das letzte Gebäude, welches auf dem Gelände gebaut wurde. Seit 1930 konnten Tuberkulosekranke in drei Operationsräumen behandelt werden. Das Gebäude ist in einem anderen Stil erbaut als die restlichen Gebäude. Auch die Ausstattung unterscheidet sich. Unter anderem wurden in der Chirurgie Fahrstühle eingebaut. Das Gebäude ist durch Vandalismus stark beschädigt. Vor einigen Jahren haben einige Bekloppte mit einem geklautem Radlager den Eingangsbereich zerstört.
In keeping with the gloomy, oppressive buildings, many horror stories are spread. Some are true, like the story of the ‘Pink Giant’. In 1991, a 1.90 metre tall transsexual murdered the wife of the Russian head physician and their three-month-old baby in a bestial manner on the grounds. This was not the first murder committed by the ‘Pink Giant’. He is still in preventive detention and is unlikely to be released.
After the withdrawal of the Soviet army in 1994, a soldier secretly remained in Beeltitz and lived in the tunnel system for several years. One day, an Urbexer found his body.
A photographer murdered two models on the site. There are more stories like this. But that would go too far here.
Passend zu den düsteren, beklemmenden Gebäude werden viele Horrorgeschichten verbreitet. Einige sind wahr, wie die Geschichte des "Rosa Riesen". Ein 1,90 Meter großer Transsexueller ermordete 1991 die Frau des russischen Chefarztes und das drei Monate alte Baby auf bestialische Weise auf dem Gelände. Das war nicht der erste Mord des "Rosa Riesen". Er sitzt immer noch in Sicherheitsverwahrung und kommt wahrscheinlich nicht mehr auf freien Fuß.
Nach dem Abzug der Sowjetarmee im Jahr 1994 blieb ein Soldat heimlich in Beeltitz und lebte mehrere Jahre im Tunnelsystem. Eines Tages fand ein Urbexer seine Leiche.
Ein Fotograf hat auf dem Gelände zwei Models ermordet. Es existieren noch mehr solcher Geschichten. Aber das würde jetzt hier zu weit führen.
Hmm... da bin ich mir jetzt nicht ganz so sicher.
All pictures are from 2013 and the building is now in even worse condition. To date, there is no concept for the further utilisation of the surgery, in contrast to most of the other buildings on the site. Clinics are housed in some of the buildings again. Other buildings are used as flats and studios for artists. All of the buildings are listed. This means that the surgery centre cannot be demolished.
Alle Bilder sind aus dem Jahr 2013. Mittlerweile ist das Gebäude in noch schlechterem Zustand. Für die Chirurgie gibt es bisher kein Konzept zur weiteren Nutzung, ganz im Gegenteil zu den meisten anderen Gebäuden auf dem Gelände. In einigen Gebäuden sind wieder Kliniken untergebracht. Andere Gebäude werden als Wohnungen und Ateliers für Künstler genutzt. Alle Gebäude stehen unter Denkmalschutz. Abreißen darf man die Chirurgie also nicht.
