In Southern Ontario, urban exploring has become very popular and it seems that there is 10 new accounts on Instagram and YouTube dedicated to the hobby in the area, on a daily basis. I'm not complaining about this, it's just a fact. A fact that does make it more difficult to find locations that I haven't already seen countless photos and videos of. Knowing exactly what I'm walking into kind of kills the excitement of exploring for me, so I will typically avoid those locations and search for others. But this old farm house was an exception to that. I saw it posted by a few explorers and knew that I had to shoot it!
The property is a mystery, there is no information available about it or who lived in it. One of the bedrooms has some school work and a diary for a young girl named Sandra, so many explorers have named it Sandra's house. I found many indications that it was an Italian family who lived there, but that was it. The decay and items left behind in the house is nothing short of incredible!

After leaving the house you are greeted by several barns being taken over by nature. Giving an absolutely beautiful aesthetic. Inside of the barns a few old cars are left behind, all decaying and being grown over.

This old property is an amazing time capsule! and is even more amazing that is was left for so long without being destroyed by vandals, scrappers etc. I say it was left for so long because shortly after I explored the property, I saw photos of it. Showing heavy damage from vandals (this is also a downfall to the large increase in explorers, a large portion of them visit to destroy).
