Seems like a pretty boring place when it was open, unless you have to dance or do cartwheels on that platform. I can't imagine why anyone thought it was a good layout for an entertainment spot?

What it had going for it (at a guess) was that it was very central in a large town. People get pissed at the pubs and then head to the nearest club, whatever is size!
I wonder how many of them went for a hospital visit next, courtesy of those steep stairs! It should be fairly close to that too 😂
