This proposal requests DAO approval to authorize the recovery and transfer of tokens and NFTs from a verified lost account to a verified new account within the ecosystem.

Background
A verified community member has lost access to their primary account and its on-chain holdings.
The validator team has verified the user’s identity and confirmed legitimate ownership of the associated tokens and NFTs.
Since validator-level actions cannot be executed without governance approval, this proposal seeks DAO authorization to proceed with the recovery in a transparent and decentralized manner.
Proposal
Action: Authorize validator-led recovery and transfer of verified tokens and NFTs from a lost account to the verified owner’s new account.
Verification: Validator team has confirmed ownership and identity.
Accounts: Withheld for privacy and security reasons.
Assets: AC Tokens, NFTs, and related on-chain holdings.
Upon approval, the validator team will execute the recovery under DAO oversight. We will release the id of the account and transfer if approved and after asset transfer.
Rationale
This proposal:
- Ensures validator transparency and DAO oversight for all recovery actions.
- Upholds decentralization while providing fair resolution for verified users.
- Preserves trust in governance through DAO-approved validator execution only.
Voting Details
All Colony stakers are encouraged to participate. Voting will remain open for 7 days from publication. For the proposal to pass:
- At least 10% of staked Colony must vote.
- A two-thirds (67%) majority must favor approval.
