RE: How much of your time do you spend online daily?

in Hive Polls8 months ago

Having a job now has likely forced me to spend less time online. Some days I probably only have up to an hour, but way more at the weekends.

My job is active, so that's a boon. I'm on my feet for most of the day. Then I squeeze in climbing usually 3 times a week. I'm not someone who likes exercising for the sake of exercising, so climbing is the hobby that gets me active. It's certainly more imperative for me to be active as I'm heading into my later years and trying to stave off health issues. A change in my way of eating has helped as well. Modern lifestyles don't make it easy for us to stay offline and be active.

I wonder if you can attach a tablet to that bike and be peddling while you work online. I was listening to people talking about having treadmill type machines at standing desks because they have to do a lot of computer work, but are aware of the need to be moving for their own well-being.

Yeah a standing desk is definitely something I wanna invest in later, as for the bike I think watching something would get difficult to focus but listening to a podcast or youtube video or just music should work well.

That sounds like a good idea. I've taken to listening to podcasts while driving, as my radio isn't really working properly any more anyway. It feels more productive anyway. 🤣
