Yes, of course, I am a small point on a map, my home, my city, my country are also a point, smaller or larger, on the great map of our planet Earth. We all know that, although we don't always think that way. An excellent initiative, ideas and graphics, called Pinmapple best visualize this.
I used this service, which allows the positioning on the map of the place I wrote about, for a long time and when it was called differently, without understanding the benefit it brings.
Now I understand, and thanks to @livinguktaiwan's latest initiative called Hi From Hive, which points out the benefits but also invites us all to bring in front of everyone what Hive means to us, our own experience and recommendations for those who may be interested in join.
My Thoughts And Life In Hive
It's been more than three years since I joined this social platform, initially called Steemit. Many avoid pronouncing this name, Steemit, because of the ugly separation from it, but they should not forget that this was actually the beginning and all Hive members who are 6-7 months older have initially signed up for Steemit. Because Steemit has shown that sometimes things can go wrong, the vast majority have migrated to the newly established Hive. Hive that proves that the wrong things can be fixed in this platform. Hive that is constantly improving and that gives us hope and curiosity.
So the beginning was in Steemit. I found out about this social platform from a post by a friend on Facebook. My online past meant online marketing, ten years of trying to make money online. I was fascinated by the possibility of earning money working from home, on the computer. It seemed easy. It wasn't like that and after ten years I drew a line and saw that I spent more than I earned. Then I decided to try (with great delay) cryptocurrencies.
I found out from my friend's post that there is a platform where you can earn cryptocurrency after your activity. I thought that was what I needed and I instantly regretted that I did not know of its existence from the beginning.

A Little Bit Of My Experience Here
The beginnings were hard! For two main reasons. Lack of experience in blogging and rather brief knowledge of English.
Although it happened with difficulty, I found the key, not really to success, but to a normal presence and noticed by others. The key is perseverance and patience.
In this way I overcame the moments when I had lost my confidence and received the reward. I learned how to write a blog and I improved my English (so say my colleagues).
This was the first and most important step for me. Then came the reward, at first small but as time went on, after I managed to interact with more and more colleagues, more and more consistent. Because the next lesson learned was that interacting with other members is another key to success. Perhaps the most important. Hive is a social platform.
The Benefits
What is beautiful and useful with Hive? First of all, you can promote your passions, you can develop your passions and you can take advantage of your passions. You may find that you have skills that you did not know and that can be turned into passions. What could be more pleasant and useful!
More pleasant and useful is the fact that you can receive money only for sharing your passions with others. Because the main reason for everyone is to make money. For me, at least, it is the culmination of the desire to make money online. I really did! It is also an introduction to the world of cryptocurrencies. Because the rewards are in a cryptocurrency ... Hive. The money earned can be collected and kept for later, as an investment. The money can be partly stored and partly used to buy various goods and services or can be used entirely to support the daily needs of our lives.
I chose the second option, I keep an important part of the rewards and another part I turned into fiat money and I used it in two ways. I bought a DSLR camera and paid for a beach vacation this year. I did this to have the physical, tangible proof that my activity, often daily, in Hive is properly rewarded!
My Expectations
My expectations are that Hive will develop in the coming years and will prove extremely beneficial for investors and holders of this cryptocurrency. Of course you need patience, it is a long-term investment.
These are my thoughts on this social platform, one of the few that rewards its members for their work. There are a lot of things to say, this was not a technical presentation of Hive, this is a picture of my perception of Hive. Some may disagree with me, maybe I'm not the best example.

and you know what, I think yours is a perfect example. Blogging is a tough world but Hive gives people the opportunity to develop themselves and become a successful blogger, or even vlogger, or basically whatever they want to be on the platform. As you say "The key is perseverance and patience " that couldn't be more true and those who stay true to that on Hive will find their path becomes a lot easier as time goes by.

HIVE is really the best place I know of on the web. You get rewarded for interacting and posting and your feed looks like you want it to look and not algorithm. A scroll through my feed is full of beautiful nature photos and smiling faces. Hive Rocks:)
