RE: Higher Resolution

in Resolutions2 years ago

Obviously, physical strength is an admirable thing, but overall, I think six-packs are overrated.

This resonates quite a lot. Especially the part about improving life as a whole, on a larger scale, rather than a narrow/niche "resolution". Seems to me things like diet, exercise, sleep, etc, all the traditional resolution areas don't function on their own. They spill over into the other areas, and so a wider approach is probably best.

Your goals for 2024 seem quite admirable. The relationships one, in particular. It's so tempting, often, to blame the other person for the dissolution or gradual disappearance of a relationship, so I think it's quite noble that you're taking ownership of your own role and trying to improve at least your side of a two-ended story :)

PS: The top photo took a while to load, I assume it's a big photo. Just wanted to say, seeing it load gradually gave me a moment to appreciate it. There's a lovely color scheme going on, particularly with the plant. It just made me think how anyone out there would be willing to trade the nice little personal touches you see in pictures like these for AI-generated crap.
