Well lucky enough to have enjoyed that soup that looked super good!

This looked delicious! You are right, I have never seen one that looked like that. Can you tell me what it was made of? I am very interested. I think that was a hopping deal, for the generous portion that you got. Was that cold coffee that you got? I think it probably is as who would serve hot coffee in a glass cup? :)

Thanks for taking us, Ace @ace108, and I am glad that you beat the rain going home! I appreciate you being part of the challenge!

MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact of that is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:

That's a cup of hot coffee which is not uncommon to get in a glass in place like this.
kway chap is a complicated thing.
Taking reference from here:
https://www.guaishushu1.com/singapore-hawker-centre-food-recipes-teochew-kway-chap-%E6%BD%AE%E6%B1%95%E7%B2%BF%E6%B1%81%EF%BC%89/
kway it the broad white rice noodle in sheet from that is cut up.
chap (more pronounced as chup) is the gravy which is made from soy sauce and water with other spices.
The link has the normal non-vegetarian ingredients that has many of the pig internal organs which I'm not a fan off.
The vegetarian version replace these with things make from different kinds of flour.
Some shops will sell the different vegetarian items. I'm not sure if they make them raw themselves or buy from manufactured source

I have to agree with you! I think the vegetarian dish sounds much better. Especially if they make it themselves.

Thanks so much for looking it all up.

Hot coffee? I didn't see that one coming! It sounds like something I would like to try! Good morning from here! I hope to get a beautiful post up later! It is one of my girl's birthdays today!

Happy Birthday to the young lady.

The kway chap looks satisfying. That is one tall coffee. It would have been perfect watching the rain outside while savouring that :)
