
昨天休息,刷视频时刷到别人做的粉丝豆腐包,看着就特别香。虽然起得晚,想吃包子的念头却没减,立刻出门买了红薯粉、豆腐和白菜,原本打算包素包,动手时临时加了些肉,最后做成了白菜粉丝豆腐肉包,咬一口满是馅料的香味,味道比预想中还好吃。
室友昨天第一次尝试艾灸。之前她去看大夫,大夫只说她的症状适合艾灸,没详细讲怎么操作、每次灸多久,她就兴冲冲买了艾条回来。艾灸时,她一边对着教学视频学习手法,一边小心翼翼调整艾条距离,满屋子的艾草烟飘着,刚开始有点呛人。我也是头一回看别人做艾灸,看着她对着艾条一脸懵懂摸索的样子,觉得既好笑又新鲜。
一直知道艾灸很神奇,它是传统中医外治法,用艾草制成的艾条燃烧后,靠温热和药性作用于穴位调理身体,不过新手得注意控制时长和距离,避免烫伤。
昨天艾灸结束后,艾草的味道九久都没散,今早起床时,客厅里还能闻到淡淡的艾草香,很特别。
Yesterday was my day off. Scrolling through videos, I saw someone making vermicelli-tofu buns—they looked so tasty. Even though I got up late, I still rushed out to buy sweet potato vermicelli, tofu and Chinese cabbage to make buns. I’d planned vegetarian ones, but added some meat on a whim, ending up with cabbage, vermicelli, tofu and meat buns. They were even more delicious than I expected, packed with flavor in every bite.
My roommate tried moxibustion for the first time too. Her doctor had said her symptoms suited moxibustion, but didn’t explain how to do it or how long each session should be. She still bought moxa sticks excitedly. While doing it, she watched tutorials to learn the technique, carefully adjusting the moxa stick’s distance. The room filled with moxa smoke, a bit choking at first. It was my first time watching moxibustion too—her confused fumbling with the stick was both funny and interesting.
I’d always known moxibustion, a traditional TCM external therapy, is great. Made from mugwort, burned moxa sticks use heat and medicinal properties on acupuncture points to regulate the body. But beginners need to control session time and stick distance to avoid burns.
The moxa smell lingered long after. This morning, I could still smell a faint hint of it in the living room—really unique.
