Theme: End SARS, End Police Brutality

in Speak Peace4 years ago

It is our collective responsibility to put an end to this malaise that's fucking up the country. This week, we want to support out brothers and sisters that are out there protesting against the injustice that is regularly being metted out by the police force.

I think Nigerian Hivers in particular need to take this seriously. What will you do it one day the police decide to unlawfully arrest you because you said: "you earn from blogging on a cryptocurrency platform".

The Task

  • Share, retweet and post as many tweets as possible to show your disdain for police brutality
  • Use #ENDSARS #ENDSARSBRUTALITY #Hhive and any other tag that suits the narrative.
  • Represent Hive community in the world stage and let them know that we're just honest people trying to make a living.
  • Share links to your tweets to this post. We'll visit your profile and upvote your most recent post that we meet.

Really love the move to support the motion. I myself am against any unjust and violent act by law enforcement. I stand against police brutality. #ENDSARS #ENDSARSBRUTALITY #Hhive

SARS is a problem for sure but I think they are a symptom of the bigger problem until Nigerians take control and hold their government responsibile for all this corruption and this misuse of capital they give permission for organization to run rogue

It is only by the productive capacity of the Nigerian people that these entities are allowed to exist which just shows how powerful the Nigerian economy is that even with all this going on it still produces growth

Now imagine if they got their story straight how much Nigeria could prosper

You're 100% right. However, one has to address one problem at a time. We live in a country without regular power, horrible roads, education and health care. Then we also have to live in fear because of police?
