Hello everyone,I uploaded a 6 minutes video to @threespeak carrying out my newbies initiative second task. The task involves answering a set of designed questions from the last class. Here is a written form of the questions and the Answers.
Q(1) Why Must You Avoid Plagiarism?
ANSWER: in the video, I explained that plagiarism means using some other persons work as your own and should be avoid as Hive is a platform that rewards original content and such acts can lead to downvotes and in repeated scenario, A ban.
Q(2) How/Why Should You Source An Image or Text?
ANSWER: When you write articles, sometimes we need to reference a particular author words in our article, that is known as sourcing. Sourcing is very important when writing as it gives credit to both the writer and the referenced source.
For example, In the last newbies initiative class, @projectmamabg explained;
It is important to use only images which have rights/permission for commercial and non-commercial purposes.

Q(3) Why should you not tag numerous people on your post?
ANSWER: As explained in the video,tagging is an important tool in writing articles as it notifies an interesting party to the post.However, it is considered spamming tagging alot of people on a particular post, or tagging people who are not related and interested in the post. It is advised to tag only people who you know or people who are interested or related to the article and will find no offense in being notified.
Q(4) Why you should not publish the same articles numerous times?
ANSWER: I consider posting same articles numerous times as being unprofessional and it reduces your relevance as repetition often bores people. A Smart way to go about referencing your old important post is shown below.

Q(5) What is the acceptable amount of articles you can publish per day?
ANSWER: In a recent video by @eddiespino explaining how to earn more upvotes on 3speak, He talked about the amount of videos that is ideal to upload daily and I think that also applies to hive blog in general, The maximum should be 3 posts a day,I personally don't go past two most times, It is important so as your followers don't get stuffed with alot of information in one day.
Q(6) What is the important of engagement?
ANSWER: Well, Engagement is the key that opens the door of opportunities in Hive, it helps increase your reputation, your followers and as such help you grow. @starstrings01 explained that;
Engagement is more than just upvotes and leaving shorts comments like "Nice post", " Great" and some other phrases, It boils down to connecting with the author's mind and not leaving him guessing if the post was read or not.
Q(7) What other points did you learn from the video?
I have actually said everthing I learnt from the video, I could also add I learnt to captivate my audience with a good title and cover image.
Conclusion
Being in this initiative as been rewarding, Having Big names such as @starstrings01, @projectmamabg , @eddiespino helping me to grow on Hive(I ask alot of questions😄), I can't thank them enough but I'm Grateful.Also to the other sponsors of the @newbies-hive,I say a big Thank you.
