Como comenté en mi post anterior, soy una come libros sin remedio a tal punto que dedico por lo menos una hora al día en leer; es mi pasatiempo favorito. Esta pasión por la lectura; aunque siento que nació conmigo no se manifestó hasta mi adolescencia y es que de niña odiaba leer, no logre terminar “El principito” ni ningún libro requerido por las maestras de Castellano y Literatura en mis últimos años de educación básica; esto lo atribuyo a mi problema de la vista que no fue diagnosticado hasta los 11 años de edad.
Si se preguntan como es que, de no gustarme leer nada pase a ser una lectora compulsiva, todo es culpa de mi papá, desde que tengo razón le ha gustado leer y siempre anda con un libro debajo del brazo o en el bolsillo de su pantalón. Un buen día, el Sr. Para el cual mi padre trabaja se fue del país y le dejo una gran caja llena de libros de todo tipo, en casa no había espacio para tantos libros y mi padre la dejo en un rincón de la sala, yo comencé a revisar y entre tantos libros conseguí un libro de Paulo Coelho “Once Minutos” y me engancho de tal manera que lo leí en menos de una semana a partir de ese momento leí cada libro que conseguía de dicho autor, además de libros de Isabel Allende, Gabriel García Márquez, Federico Moccia entre otros.
Leer para mi es terapéutico, no hay nada comparado con sentarse, después de un día agotador de trabajo con un buen libro, una taza de café, chocolate o una copa de vino tinto (todo depende del clima), y sumergirte tanto en la historia que sientes que estas en medio de un castillo en Londres en 1845, sentir las olas de una playa del caribe o las mariposas en el estómago cuando los protagonistas por fin vencen todos los obstáculos y pueden amarse sin barreras; todo depende de la historia que se lea y las ganas de imaginar a medida que se avanzas en ella.
Entre tantos libros que he tenido la dicha de leer se hace casi que imposible elegir solo 3 que sean mis favoritos, pero después de repasar en mi mente tantos títulos puedo elegir los que mas han aportado valor a mi vida después de leerlos y uno que tiene un gran valor sentimental.
Padre Rico Padre Pobre - Robert T. Kiyosaki con Sharon L. Lechter C.P.A.
Este libro llego a mis manos gracias a una gran amiga que se fue del país, ya había oído de el y, aunque se consigue en línea no me había llamado la atención, sin saber de lo que me estaba perdiendo. Robert Kiyosaki es considerado el gurú de los millonarios ya que enseña a las personas a hacerse millonarias. La introducción de esta obra maravillosa comienza con una pregunta ¿Prepara el Colegio a los niños para el mundo real? Y después de leerlo llegue a la conclusión que la respuesta es un rotundo NO. Este libro me dio una nueva perspectiva sobre el dinero, me hizo entender que la educación universitaria no siempre garantiza el éxito financiero en la vida ya que ésta esta enfocada en generar empleados y no empleadores.
El autor con la comparación de un padre rico (mejor amigo de su padre, quien abandono los estudios a temprana edad y termino convirtiéndose en millonario) y un padre pobre (su padre biológico con alta formación académica), explica cómo se hace necesario el cambio de mentalidad para poder triunfar en el mundo de los negocios. Este libro me hizo entender que, hay que trabajar para vivir y no vivir para trabajar, hay que salir de siclo repetitivo de trabajo, me pagan y gasto, hay que sacarse el chip de trabajar solo por un salario mensual si queremos ser libres financieramente.
Almas Gemelas - Deepak Chopra
Este libro no es mío, es de mi esposo, pero con eso de que, al casarnos todo lo de él es mío y todo lo mío es mío, este libro siempre este entre mis cosas. Hay una frase con la que comienza el capítulo 7, “El amor no es algo que tu sientes. Es en lo que te conviertes” y es que, este libro no es solo de superación personal, nos muestra el amor como una fuerza que todo lo puede y perdura más allá de lo imaginable (más allá de la muerte), que para poder amar a otros debemos amarnos a nosotros mismos, dejando atrás el ego. Si crees que el amor puede superar cualquier barrera sin importar tiempo o espacio, te invito a leer este libro, te hará pasar por muchas emociones que cambiaran tu forma de ver el amor.
Eclipse – Stephenie Meyer
Aunque es el tercer libro de la saga crepúsculo, sin duda alguna este es mi favorito; ya había leído los cuatro libros en formato PDF gracias a una amiga que me los envió vía electrónica a mediados del 2009, y gracias a mi jefa en aquel tiempo pude imprimir los dos primeros libros los cuáles mandé a encuadernar. Este libro fue un auto regalo que me hice si mal no recuerdo en 2010; lo compre en una tienda en el aeropuerto de Aruba cuando regresaba de vacaciones, recuerdo que era el único que quedaba y estaba super emocionada porque la portada era la imagen promocional de la película.
La saga crepúsculo narra la historia en primera persona de Bella Swan, una adolescente que se muda a Seattle con su padre y que se enamora del chico guapo de la escuela el cual resulta ser un vampiro, luego descubre que su mejora amigo es un hombre lobo y que ellos son enemigos antiguos. He de imaginar que la mayoría ya ha visto las películas.
La razón por la cual este es mi libro favorito de la saga es porque, aunque vampiros y hombres lobos son enemigos, Edward y Jacob dejan a un lado sus diferencias para proteger a Bella. También porque se indaga mucho en la historia de personajes secundarios como Jasper y Alice, dejando ver cuáles fueron sus orígenes, como se convirtieron en vampiros y como llegaron a la familia Cullen.
Como pueden observar no me inclino por un tipo de literatura en específico; leo de todo, desde libros de superación personal, finanzas, contabilidad hasta libros de suspenso, misterios, algunos subidos de tono y otros con historias de cuentos de hadas.

This passion for reading; although I feel it was born with me, it didn't manifest itself until I was a teenager and as a child I hated reading, I didn't manage to finish "The Little Prince" or any book required by the Spanish and Literature teachers in my last years of elementary school; I attribute this to my eyesight problem that wasn't diagnosed until I was 11 years old.
If you wonder how I went from not liking to read anything to being a compulsive reader, it is all my dad's fault, since I can remember he has always liked to read and always has a book under his arm or in his pants pocket. One day, the man my father works for left the country and left him a big box full of books of all kinds, at home there was no room for so many books and my father left it in a corner of the living room, I began to review and among so many books I got a book by Paulo Coelho "Eleven Minutes" and I was so hooked that I read it in less than a week from that moment I read every book I got from that author, plus books by Isabel Allende, Gabriel García Márquez, Federico Moccia and others.
Reading for me is therapeutic, there is nothing compared to sit down after a tiring day of work with a good book, a cup of coffee, chocolate or a glass of red wine (all depending on the weather), and immerse yourself so much in the story that you feel you are in the middle of a castle in London in 1845, feel the waves of a Caribbean beach or the butterflies in your stomach when the protagonists finally overcome all obstacles and can love each other without barriers, it all depends on the story you read and the desire to imagine as you move forward in it.
Among so many books that I have had the pleasure of reading it is almost impossible to choose only 3 that are my favorites, but after reviewing in my mind so many titles I can choose the ones that have brought more value to my life after reading them and one that has a great sentimental value.
Rich Dad Poor Dad - Robert T. Kiyosaki with Sharon L. Lechter C.P.A.
This book came into my hands thanks to a great friend who left the country, I had already heard of it and, although it is available online, it had not caught my attention, not knowing what I was missing. Robert Kiyosaki is considered the guru of millionaires because he teaches people how to become millionaires. The introduction of this wonderful work begins with a question Does college prepare children for the real world? And after reading it I came to the conclusion that the answer is a resounding NO. This book gave me a new perspective on money, it made me understand that college education does not always guarantee financial success in life since it is focused on generating employees and not employers.
The author with the comparison of a rich father (his father's best friend, who dropped out of school at an early age and ended up becoming a millionaire) and a poor father (his biological father with a high academic background), explains how a change of mentality is necessary to be able to succeed in the business world. This book made me understand that you have to work to live and not live to work, you have to get out of the repetitive cycle of work, pay me and spend, you have to get rid of the chip of working only for a monthly salary if we want to be financially free.
Soulmate - Deepak Chopra
This book is not mine, it is my husband's, but with the fact that, when we got married, everything of his is mine and everything of mine is mine, this book is always among my things. There is a phrase that begins chapter 7, "Love is not something you feel. It is what you become" and this book is not only about self-improvement, it shows us that love is a force that can do anything and lasts beyond imagination (beyond death), that in order to love others we must love ourselves, leaving behind the ego. If you believe that love can overcome any barrier regardless of time or space, I invite you to read this book, it will make you go through many emotions that will change the way you see love.
Eclipse – Stephenie Meyer
Although it is the third book of the twilight saga, without a doubt this is my favorite; I had already read the four books in PDF format thanks to a friend who sent them to me electronically in mid 2009, and thanks to my boss at that time I could print the first two books which I sent to bind. This book was an auto gift I gave myself if I remember correctly in 2010; I bought it in a store at the airport in Aruba when I was returning from vacation, I remember it was the only one left and I was super excited because the cover was the promotional image of the movie.
The twilight saga tells the first person story of Bella Swan, a teenager who moves to Seattle with her father and falls in love with the cute boy at school who turns out to be a vampire, then discovers that her best friend is a werewolf and that they are old enemies. I have to imagine most of you have already seen the movies.
The reason this is my favorite book of the saga is because, even though vampires and werewolves are enemies, Edward and Jacob put aside their differences to protect Bella. Also because it digs a lot into the history of secondary characters like Jasper and Alice, letting us see what their origins were, how they became vampires and how they came to be part of the Cullen family.
As you can see I don't lean towards a specific type of literature; I read everything from books about self-improvement, finances, accounting to suspense books, mysteries, some of which are racy and others with fairy tale stories.

Es un gran libro sin duda alguna , uno de los que me comentan que tiene un gran contenido , lo busque hace un tiempo en PDF pero no es igual a tener el libro
