¡Saludos amigos de #Hive! el día de hoy les traigo mi participación (un poco tarde) para el Hive #Openmic en su semana número 65 con una canción que he traído antes pero creo que va de acuerdo a la temática de la semana la cual es "Promesas" y ésta pieza trata de eso, me gusta mucho por que está incluida en el libro "Himnos de Gloria y Triunfo" titulada "En el monte Calvario" en la cual relata como nosotros debemos valorar el sacrificio de Cristo en la cruz ya que hay una promesa de que algún en vez de una cruz (una prueba para nosotros) Jesús nos dará una corona y me resulta muy bonita traerla en una versión instrumental, espero les guste...

Today I bring you my participation (a bit late) for the Hive #Openmic in its 65th week with a song that I brought before but I think it goes according to the theme of the week which is "Promises" and this one This piece deals with that, I really like it because it is included in the book "Hymns of Glory and Triumph" entitled "On Mount Calvary" in which it tells how we should value the sacrifice of Christ on the cross since there is a promise of that some time instead of a cross (a test for us) Jesus will give us a crown and I find it very nice to bring it in an instrumental version, I hope you like it ...

“En el monte Calvario” lo escribió George Bennard un evangelista metodista en el año 1913.

George Bennard aceptó a Cristo como su Salvador personal a temprana edad. Tras la muerte de su padre, George tuvo que asumir él solo la manutención de su madre y cuatro hermanos cuando tenía tan sólo 16 años de edad. Esto hizo que le fuera imposible continuar una preparación adicional para el ministerio cristiano.

"On Mount Calvary" was written by George Bennard, a Methodist evangelist in 1913.

George Bennard accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. Following the death of his father, George had to support himself for his mother and four siblings when he was just 16 years old. This made it impossible for him to continue further preparation for Christian ministry.
