En esta oportunidad y para esta semana número 67 de Open Mic les traigo un merengue venezolano titulado Un Heladero con Clase, del maestro Luis Laguna. Todo aquel músico que desee dedicarse de manera profesional o también como aficionado debe conocer a este referente de la música tradicional de Venezuela, Valses y Merengues son necesarios dentro del repertorio o por lo menos saber reconocer las composiciones de este maestro que dejó un gran legado en nuestra música. Luis Laguna fue fundador del Grupo Venezuela 4, al que le dedicó su vida y obra, creando canciones como Mariposita, Ay Compae, La comae Joaquina, Crucigrama, y muchos otros más.
Aquí te presento este merengue con un poco de Jazz.

In this opportunity and for this week number 67 of Open Mic I bring you a Venezuelan merengue titled Un Heladero con Clase (An Ice Cream Man with Class), by maestro Luis Laguna. Every musician who wants to dedicate himself professionally or also as an amateur should know this reference of the traditional music of Venezuela, Waltzes and Merengues are necessary in the repertoire or at least know how to recognize the compositions of this master who left a great legacy in our music. Luis Laguna was the founder of Grupo Venezuela 4, to which he dedicated his life and work, creating songs such as Mariposita, Ay Compae, La comae Joaquina, Crucigrama, and many others.
