Hi Hivers, how are you all? I'm sure we're all fine. By the way, my name is @donirosayandi, I'm a guitarist. On this occasion I will sing again for the 107th week of the Hive Open Mic #openmic contest with the theme: "Brave Mind." This theme is chosen by our recent Spotlight Artist @obaro, who is a fantastic singer, musician, and friend in the Hive Open Mic community.
For this week's theme I have prepared a good song, a song that is bold and related to the theme, namely the song called "Cinta Sampai Mati" which was popularized by "Kangen Band".
Kangen Band is a band dubbed as The King Of Pop Melayu,
Not only the music, but the lyrics are also the highlight of the band which started their career in 2006. Even though it was reported that they had disbanded and the members had problems, this did not stop them from continuing to dare to work.
Even the vocalist of this band, Andika had left the Kangen Band. Then in 2020, the Kangen band boldly decided to reunite after changing vocalists several times.
"Kangen Band" again enlivened Indonesian music with a new song entitled Cinta Sampai Mati. This song was trending after uploading the Music Video on Youtube.
Who would have thought that this song with a Malay arrangement and lyrics with deep meaning was created by the wife of one of the Kangen Band members. Created by Ayu Rizki Yani who is the wife of Dodhy, the guitarist for Kangen Band.
This song tells about the eternal love story of a lovebird, where in the lyrics the man bravely proves his loyal love for the idol of the heart.
