Hi everyone, how are you all? I'm sure we're all fine at the beginning of this February. Must be fun, right?
By the way, my name is @donirosayandi, I'm a beginner guitarist. On this good start I will challenge myself to sing myself again, by singing the 95th week Hive Open Mic contest song with the following theme: "Nuevos Tiempos." In English, this means: "New Times." This theme was chosen by @adrianalara , who blessed this community with a gift of songs and supportive comments.
For this week's theme I have prepared a very good song, a song that I think fits this theme very well, namely a song from the song "Jawara Cinta" which was popularized by Bian Gindas.
Released on YouTube on September 22, 2016, this song is one of Bian Gindas' hits, who used to be famous with the band D' Bagindas.
People say, Malay music is somewhat similar to Dangdut music. However, even though they seem similar at first glance, Malay music and dangdut are still two different genres. So, what if the two genres are combined? Bian Gindas also tried to answer in their third single, entitled Jawara Cinta.
In this third single, the group which consists of Bian (vocals), Ardhi Winata (guitar), Ajie Hangesti (bass) and Safir (drums) is trying to present something fresher and more colorful by including dangdut rhythms in their songs. "From the previous two singles, there has been no dangdut. The reason is to make it more entertaining.
Our Malay concept is also not far from dangdut. And the song also fits in dangdutin," said Bian. Conceptually, the song Jawara Cinta is not much different from Bian Gindas' previous songs. It is still the theme of love, still wrapped in Malay music and Bian's distinctive Malay vocals. the dangdut element makes this song a little special. Jawara Cinta itself tells about the expression of someone's love for their partner. Where the man guarantees that he will keep his love if his lover accepts his love and will become a champion of love for his lover.
The arrangement still characterizes the music of Bian Gindas. With a Malay concept, keroncong elements, and the addition of dangdut and a sequencer, it adds a special color to the song Jawara Cinta. It's still Bian Gindas, anyway," said Bian, laughing.
Not only that, refreshments also occur in the chorus of this song. This time Bian tried something extreme. That is, to include a few elements of the poem. "Bian Gindas always has a special characteristic in each of his songs. Especially from the lyrics. Especially in this Jawara Cinta song, there is an element of rhyme in the chorus. What makes this song sweeter and more rhythmic," said Bian proudly.

Sweet coconut is not as sweet as sugar
I express love, I hope you accept
I guarantee the love of the champion of love

Interesting right? This is what made me choose this song, because I think this song fits the theme of the 95th week of Hive Open Mic chosen by @adrianalara, namely New Times"

Happy listening.

Here are the lyrics of the song.

Aku bukanlah penyair handal
Sungguh aku tak lagi menggombal
Ku hanya menyusun kata mesra
Ungkapkan apa yang ku rasa

Di hatiku tertulis namamu
Sertai di setiap langkahku
Semua kasihku hanya untukmu
Izinkan aku bersamamu

Manis buah kelapa tak semanis gula
Aku ungkapkan cinta, ku harap kau terima
Kan ku jamin kasihnya sang jawara cinta

Manis buah kelapa tak semanis gula
Siapa pemilik cinta yang tiada duanya
Akulah pemiliknya yang pastinya sang jawara cinta

Manis buah kelapa tak semanis gula
Aku ungkapkan cinta, ku harap kau terima
Kan ku jamin kasihnya sang jawara cinta oooh

Manis buah kelapa tak semanis gula
Aku ungkapkan cinta, ku harap kau terima
Kan ku jamin kasihnya sang jawara cinta

Manis buah kelapa tak semanis gula
Siapa pemilik cinta yang tiada duanya
Akulah pemiliknya yang pastinya sang jawara cinta
Sang jawara cinta, sang jawara cinta
