¡Hola amigos de #Hive! Bienvenidos a mi #Blog. Hoy les traigo un nuevo #Cover para participar en la comunidad Hive Open Mic, que en esta semana 287, nos trae el tema "The Future" (El Futuro). Me lanzo con atrevimiento a reinterpretar "Tuvimos Futuro", una melancólica canción de la agrupación chilena Lagos. Si no has escuchado el original, te dejo también el tema en la descripción: es una balada romántica que comparte una triste historia de amor.
"Tuvimos Futuro" habla de ese amor que parecía eterno, de planes tejidos en noches de confidencias, solo para luego deshilarse en el tiempo. Lagos, con su sonido folk-electrónico, me inspiró a adentrarme en esta canción y preparar el cover para la comunidad Hive Open Mic, este es mi aporte a la semana 287. #Hive sigue siendo un faro de creatividad auténtica, donde iniciativas como estas nos hacen desarrollar nuevas inquietudes musicales. Los invito a todos a participar con sus propios cover sobre "The Future", y encantarnos con sus melodías.
En cuanto al futuro, opino que la humanidad no se está deteniendo a pensar en qué legado quiere dejarle a las nuevas generaciones. Demasiados conflictos están opacando el desarrollo de la especie que, más que evolucionar, parece involucionar hacia un pasado que se repite. A todos nos preocupa el futuro, mucho más cuando tenemos hijo. Nos ocupa transmitirles las herramientas necesarias, como para enfrentarlo.

I boldly venture to reinterpret "Tuvimos Futuro" (We Had a Future), a melancholic song by the Chilean band Lagos. As for the future, I believe that humanity is not stopping to think about what legacy it wants to leave to new generations. Too many conflicts are overshadowing the development of the species, which, rather than evolving, seems to be regressing towards a repeating past. We are all concerned about the future, even more so when we have children. We are busy passing on the necessary tools to face it.
