This week I was on vacation in the Venezuelan Andes, in the states of Táchira and Mérida, and I am filled with pride, joy and emotion as I contemplate the beauty of our Andes, its towns, mountains, rivers, lakes, fog, vegetation, snow, its fauna, its agriculture, but above all the beauty and warmth of its people, beautiful women, especially the Merida woman to whom I dedicate this week's song. It was very exciting the experience I lived in the Venezuelan Andes.
Esta semana estuve de vacaciones por los andes Venezolanos, por los estados Táchira y Mérida y vengo henchido de orgullo, alegría y emoción al contemplar la hermosura de nuestros andes, sus pueblos, montañas, ríos, lagos, neblina, vegetación, nevadas, su fauna, su agricultura, pero sobre todo la hermosura y calidez de su gente, mujeres hermosas, en especial la mujer Merideña a la cual le dedico la canción de esta semana. Fue muy emocionante la experiencia que vivi en los andes Venezolanos.
Another thing that filled me with emotion was listening to an audio of my granddaughter Sofia singing the happy birthday dedicated to me, that filled me with great emotion since I did not expect it because with only 3 years old she already sings. Otra cosa que me lleno de emoción fue escuchar en un audio a mi nieta Sofía cantar el cumpleaños feliz dedicado a mí, eso me lleno de mucha emoción ya que no me lo esperaba porque con tan solo 3 años ya canta. Un día tal como hoy 13 de agosto de 1972 en la ciudad de Valencia Estado Carabobo Venezuela nació este servidor.
