Hive Open Mic 71 - "Somewhere over the rainbow"

It is an immense pleasure for me to share in this HIVE Platform, and especially in this Global Hive Open Mic Community in its 71st week, this version of the song "Somewhere over the rainbow". It is a song that first appeared in the movie The Wizard of Oz (1939), starring Judy Garland (1922 - 1969). The original music was composed by Harold Arlen (1905-1986) and the original lyrics by Edgar Yipsel Harburg (1896-1981). One of the most famous versions of this song is that of the ukulele player Israel (Iz) Kamakawiwo’ole (1959 - 1997). On this occasion, I interpret a Spanish version accompanying me with the #cuatrovenezolano in the very Creole style of our #musicavenezolana. I just hope you like it.
Es un inmenso placer para mí compartir en esta Plataforma HIVE, y especialmente en esta Comunidad Global Hive Open Mic en su semana 71, esta versión de la canción "Somewhere over the rainbow". Se trata de una canción que apareció por primera vez en la película El Mago de Oz (1939), protagonizada por Judy Garland (1922 - 1969). La música original fue compuesta por Harold Arlen (1905-1986) y la letra original por Edgar Yipsel Harburg (1896-1981). Una de las más famosas versiones de esta canción es la del ukelelista Israel (Iz) Kamakawiwo’ole (1959 - 1997). En esta oportunidad, interpreto una Versión en español acompañándome con el #cuatrovenezolano al muy criollo estilo de nuestra #musicavenezolana. Solo espero que sea del agrado de ustedes.

I want to thank the Hive Platform and, in the same way, the Global Hive Open Mic Community for this opportunity they give us to celebrate live music and thus contribute to global harmony and world peace. And following this week's orientation, the invitation is that each of us build with optimism and hope a better world for all. And let us remember that we can express our life, not only as artists, but as beings that we live in everyday life through and for music. Also thanking God because music inspires us with the life we want to live ... our own life.
