Hello friends of Hive and the Hive Open Mic community, for this week 76 dedicated to "Passion" I bring you a guitar cover of one of my favorite bands at the moment, I'm talking about The Neighbourhood, a northamerican (USA) alternative/indie rock band that appeared on the music scene in 2011.
The song I'm going to play is called "Cry Baby", belonging to the 2nd studio album of the band, titled "Wiped Out!" released in 2015. This track tells us about a guy who is after a woman with many complexes and emotional disturbances; the man makes great efforts to understand her since he also has insecurities regarding himself and towards her, but he is always there insisting her and reminding her that he is not looking to fall in love, however, the attraction is so strong that in the end a great feeling grows between them.
I think this song fits very well to the proposed theme, passion is more of an impulse, an automatic behavior before that which satisfies us. Passion is implicit in love and tends to be a little more irrational than the latter. It can do harm when it is not well directed with the will, on the other hand, it can be very good because it brings out our most instinctive side, which, when positively united with reason, brings out the best in each person when faced with a challenge or desire.
I hope you enjoy it very much, it is a soft, relaxing and seductive song, with depressive yet hopeful emotions. It is easy to play, very addictive and can literally trigger passion in case of falling in love. The album as a whole I recommend it 100%.

Hola amigos de Hive y de la comunidad Hive Open Mic, para esta semana 76 dedicada a la “Pasión” les traigo un cover de guitarra de una de mis bandas favoritas actualmente, les hablo de The Neighbourhood (el Vecindario), grupo de rock alternativo/indie estadounidense que apareció en la escena musical en el año 2011.
La canción que voy a tocar se llama “Cry Baby” (Bebé Llorón), perteneciente al 2do álbum de estudio de la banda, titulado “Wiped Out!” (Eliminado) lanzado en 2015. Esta pista nos habla de un chico que está detrás de una mujer con muchos complejos y perturbaciones emocionales; el hombre hace esfuerzos grandes por comprenderla ya que él también tiene inseguridades con respecto a si mismo y hacia ella, pero siempre está ahí insistiéndole y recordándole que no busca enamorarse de ella, sin embargo, la atracción es tan fuerte que al final crece un sentimiento grande entre ellos.
Pienso que esta canción se adapta muy bien al tema propuesto, la pasión es más un impulso, una conducta automática ante aquello que nos satisface. La pasión está implícita en el amor y tiende a ser un poco más irracional que este último. Puede hacer daño cuando no se dirige bien con la voluntad, por otro lado, puede ser muy buena ya que saca nuestro lado más instintivo, que, al unirse positivamente con la razón, sacan lo mejor de cada quien ante un reto o deseo.
Espero la disfruten mucho, es una canción suave, relajante y seductora, con emociones depresivas y a la vez esperanzadoras. Es fácil de tocar, muy adictiva y, literalmente, puede activar la pasión en caso de enamoramiento. El disco en su totalidad lo recomiendo al 100 %.
