Thank you @openmic for really inspiring my creativity up for this week's post. I had the mind of bringing something intriguing and captivating and here it is eventually.
This week we marked the Independence of Nigeria at 62 and I have had the honour of doing a song by Timi Dakolo , a seasoned Nigerian and global artiste, song titled GREAT NATION.
This nation in the picture is Nigeria and like we all know is a great nation. And this song completely depicts everything there is to say for and about Nigeria.
The Nigerian people all always agree that the Nigerian dream is substantial and real however we have not had the benefits of good leaders who can nurture and culture out the wonderful fruits that it holds. and hence the future of the country has been bleak for a long time because its leaders are completely blind to the prospects and the opportunities that its people can develop if given the chance. Our leaders would rather squander money in squalor and never accomplish what they have promised to offer in office and when the timer is over they will be willing to hand over the reins of power to the person of their choice who they can be assured of protection from the law and also be part of the next government.
But this shall not be so as I pray and decree that this nation will enter her prime of development and power to its people and the resources found in it. God has blessed Nigeria with all that it needs and it is a huge insult that Nigerians are finding other lands as greener than theirs.
We are a great nation according to the lines of this song, A great people, when we are United there is nothing we cannot pull down and there is nothing we cannot build up. We have tried to push against these forces before they win the #endSARS protest and we were shot at and killed and injured and all of that was denied and now the same people who shot at us are orchestrating to become our leaders once again even without our votes as they already believe that it is their turn.
But it is God who makes kings and who determines whose turn it is, and so for anyone who believes that a man is the solution to our problem I beg to differ because what we need is more than just a man who is wise what we need is a God who is powerful and that we have in Yahweh. He will fight for us, he will answer our prayers he will make a way for us and for our children and our children's children and all the unborn generations of this nation.
Now is our time to rise, now is our time to make our vote count.

I have included in the video setting clips of some drama I perform to express our determination and deliberate actions in prayer and standing against the enemy and finally visualising the future.

Pero es Dios quien hace reyes y quien determina de quién es el turno, por lo que para cualquiera que crea que un hombre es la solución a nuestro problema, discrepo porque lo que necesitamos es más que un hombre sabio. es un Dios que es poderoso y que tenemos en Yaweh. Él peleará por nosotros, contestará nuestras oraciones, abrirá un camino para nosotros y para nuestros hijos y los hijos de nuestros hijos y todas las generaciones no nacidas de esta nación.
Ahora es nuestro momento de levantarnos, ahora es nuestro momento de hacer que nuestro voto cuente.

Amen to this brother. Nigeria needs more prayers than complains really. I know lots have happened and are happening negatively but we must keep speaking peace, blessings to Nigeria and also pray for our leaders to lead right. This will definitely change things for the better.

62 years is a really long time, and we have come really far.
We may not be where we desire to be, but we are hopeful people. We are strong and we will fight to get to where we want to be... a while it may take, but we'll persevere.
This is a wonderful redition, man. A very good way to commemorate our independence; with style in music.
