Octavo Día, belongs to Shakira's second international album, titled "Where Are The Thieves?", and although it was not a promotional single it is one of the favorites of its faithful audience, as my person, precisely because of the seriousness of the topic it deals with. Here next to the video I leave the lyrics of the song in English and Spanish so that they can enjoy it.
The video was recorded with my Alcatel Cameo X and the post images were edited with PhotoDirector 2020.I hope you liked my participation this week for this mega Hive event. Thanks to everyone who always supports me, thanks to you I'm always motivating you to keep uploading content to Hive. A brotherly hug for everyone. See you next week!

Eighth Day
On the eighth day, God,
after so much work,
to release tensions,
after reviewing,
said, "Everything's fine,
it's time to rest,"
and went for a walk
for the sidereal space.
Who would have imagined
that God himself when he returned
I was going to find it all
in a hellish disorder?
and that it was going to become
in one more unemployed person
of the rate that annually
is growing non-stop.
Since then
there are those who have seen it
only on the streets to transit,
Waiting patient
by someone with whom at least
don't worry, I can talk.
Meanwhile, this world
spins and spins without being able to stop it
and down here a few
they handle us like chess chips.
I'm not the kind of idiot.
who lets himself be convinced,
But I'm telling the truth,
and even a blind man can see it.
If in the absence of occupation
or excessive loneliness
God couldn't take it anymore
and go somewhere else,
it would be our undoing,
there would be no other way
to worship Michael Jackson,
Bill Clinton or Tarzan.
It's harder to be king without a crown
than a more normal person,
poor God who doesn't appear in magazines,
she is not a model or an artist or a royal family.
Octavo Día
El octavo día, Dios,
después de tanto trabajar,
para liberar tensiones,
luego ya de revisar,
dijo: "todo está muy bien,
es hora de descansar",
y se fue a dar un paseo
por el espacio sideral.
¿Quién se iba a imaginar
que el mismo Dios al regresar
iba a encontrarlo todo
en un desorden infernal?
y que se iba a convertir
en un desempleado más
de la tasa que anualmente
está creciendo sin parar.
Desde ese entonces
hay quienes lo han visto
solo en las calles transitar,
anda esperando paciente
por alguien con quien al menos
tranquilo pueda conversar.
Mientras tanto, este mundo
gira y gira sin poderlo detener
y aquí abajo unos cuantos
nos manejan como fichas de ajedrez.
No soy la clase de idiota
que se deja convencer,
pero digo la verdad,
y hasta un ciego lo puede ver.
Si a falta de ocupación
o de excesiva soledad
Dios no resistiera más
y se marchara a otro lugar,
sería nuestra perdición,
no habría otro remedio más
que adorar a Michael Jackson,
a Bill Clinton o a Tarzán.
