With my cuatro, a Venezuelan musical instrument, I will perform a song by the Spanish band La Oreja De Van Gogh, written by Pablo Benegas and with music by Amaia Montero and Xavier San Martín, which was included in the album Lo Que Te Conté While You Made The Sleep of 2003.
I like this song for this week as it covers the theme of freedom from a dark point of view. I feel that the lyrics are born from the nostalgia of having known freedom and longing for it again for no longer having it. I feel very identified by the situation in my country and the current world panorama.

Con mi cuatro, instrumento musical venezolano, interpretaré una canción de la banda española La Oreja De Van Gogh, escrita por Pablo Benegas y con música de Amaia Montero y Xavier San Martín, la cual fue incluida en el álbum Lo Que Te Conté Mientras Te Hacías La Dormida del año 2003.
Me gusta esta canción para esta semana ya que abarca el tema de la libertad desde un punto de vista oscuro. Siento que la letra nace de la nostalgia de haber conocido la libertad y añorarla de nuevo por ya no tenerla. Me siento muy identificado por la situación de mi país y el panorama mundial actual.

Nostálgica, sí , pero muy bonita es la canción @jesuslnrs. Trae un mundo que se añora...y un deseo de que las cosas cambien. No faltó la pasión de la interpetación, sí que sientes la canción y la situación.
