[ESP] Hola querida comunidad de Hive Open Mic es un gusto traerles una canción de uno de los artistas más influyentes de toda América Latina como lo es Silvio Rodríguez. Esta semana el tema es "optimismo" y elegimos una canción poco conocida titulada "Creo" la cual habla del optimismo en las relaciones, entender la naturaleza de inicio, y cierre, de entender ese amor romántico el cual a veces dura mucho tiempo, a veces poco, con pausas, con intermedios, con viajes, pero siempre con el sentimiento presente de haber creado un vinculo sincero.
[ENG] Recuerdo haber escuchado esta canción en mi adolescencia, mi hermano le gustaba mucho, y la tenía en su ipod (el cual siempre me prestaba). Esa sorpresa de escuchar a una guitarra, y una voz, haciendo una fusión entre son y bossa nova, muy sútil, pareciera haberse grabado con un aparatico pequeño, pórtatil, y disfrutar esa poesía musical, minimalista de alguna forma, porque en un par de minutos nos regaló una de las canciones más formativas de mi vida con la música, especialmente con la trova cubana.

Thanks so much sir! We're really enjoying the process, taking it week to week, practicing and discovering our possibilities of playing the music that we love. My dad used to drive my uncle to sing serenades, and he always tell us about it, he used to teach also to his younger cousins and nephews chords in the guitar, but playing to the public was not his thing, my uncle, and the brothers of my grandma they all did play, and sang, mostly mexican songs, and boleros. So there is a family thing in our music, and now we are having a great time with this new dynamic. Cheers!
Muchas gracias señor! Estamos disfrutando mucho el proceso, tomandolo semana tras semana, practicando y descubriendo nuestras posibilidades de tocar la musica que amamos. Mi papá solía llevar a mi tío a cantar serenatas, y siempre nos contaba sobre eso, el solia enseñarle acordes de guitarra a sus primos pequeños, pero tocarle al publico no era su cosa, mi tío, y los hermanos de mi abuela si tocaban, mayormente canciones mexicanas, y boleros. Entonces si hay un tema familiar en nuestra musica, y ahora la estamos pasando muy bien con esta dinámica. Saludos!
