Hola, amigo @mayorkeys.
Hello, dear friend @mayorkeys. Here this instrument has the name of "tambora de parranda". The term "tambora" has been like the feminine of "drum" since in our Spanish language the objects have masculine and feminine gender. "Parranda" refers to an extremely joyous genre of Christmas music. It's actually an instrument that is only used for that genre but I adapt it to everything we play with my "Venezuelan Power" classmates. I've added a cymbal to it that was originally part of a drum set. I don't have the drums but at least I have its cymbal and combining the drum and the cymbal I work the rhythmic base of our songs
Wow I am learning new things everyday thanks to this great platform and I know I will still learn more with Time, thanks for explaining so well for me I really do appreciate
