when I saw the theme for the week, I paused to think of a song i could present that would be in line with it. I wanted to perform Country Road, but then I saw that someone else already uploaded a video on it, so after some time of ransacking my head, I decided to write an original song which I was able to put up within an hour, and decided to do it instead. I thought I would better express myself through an original as i have the freedom of choice of words. Though a Nigerian, the Spanish line at the end of the chorus describes my love for spanish language and how expressive and romantic Spanish language is in interpreting love songs.
This song describes a heart, who tries to deny the love he feels within but then, had to accept the reality and decided to take the way that leads home, where his heart is.
Home is always where the heart is, not the house, but where your heart feels safe.
