Abrazo y buenas noches para todos mis colegas músicos y bateristas, después de un día bastante ajetreado me dediqué a pensar un poco sobre lo que les compartiría hoy, y llegué a la conclusión de mostrarles este proyecto en el cual participé como arreglista y co-arreglista junto a mi gran amigo Carlos Jimenez(Bajista que verán en el video).

La mayoría de las personas que conocen mis gustos musicales, saben que soy amante a morir del Jazz, en sus diferentes ramas, épocas, formas de interpretación y artistas, y esto me ha motivado a hacer colaboraciones con amigos que también son amantes, estudiosos, o personas que sencillamente respetan el género.

En esta ocasión les traemos este tema que es un himno dentro de jazz, llamado " SPAIN" del gran maestro "Chick Corea" (Que en paz descanse). Esta es una canción que todas las personas que comienzan a estudiar jazz tienen que aprender a tocar, primero por su popularidad pero también porque es un estándar relativamente fácil a nivel rítmico, melódico y armónico.

Así que aquí les comparto este material.

Hugs and good evening to all my fellow musicians and drummers, after a very busy day I dedicated myself to thinking a bit about what I would share with you today, and I came to the conclusion of showing you this project in which I participated as an arranger and co-arranger with my great friend Carlos Jimenez (Bass player that you will see in the video).

Most of the people who know my musical tastes, know that I am a lover to die of Jazz, in its different branches, times, forms of interpretation and artists, and this has motivated me to collaborate with friends who are also lovers, scholars, or people who simply respect gender.

This time we bring you this song that is a hymn within jazz, called "SPAIN" by the great teacher "Chick Corea" (May he rest in peace). This is a song that everyone who begins to study jazz has to learn to play, first because of its popularity but also because it is a relatively easy standard on a rhythmic, melodic and harmonic level.
