Así es. Efectivamente, es un género musical que está dentro de lo que conocemos como ritmos a 3 o ternarios del Vals y el Joropo venezolano. Esta música es muy interesnate por la síncopa criolla venezolana, es decir los desplazamientos de los tiempos fuertes hacia los débiles. Esto es muy común en la música venezolana.
