José Pulido ("El Profe"). Nace en Cumaná un 19 de Dicembre de 1963. Una ciudad del estado Sucre en Venezuela. Sus padres : Elena Oliveros y Juan Manuel Pulido(+).
De niño a la edad de 12 años le gustaba cantar canciones de Alí Primera (Cantaautor venezolano). Cuenta que comenzó de lleno en la carrera musical a la edad de 18 años cuando cursaba el nivel medio. El profesor de música para ese entonces en el liceo "Pedro Arnal" era Pastor Suárez" a quien siguió por muchos años porque luego de ser seleccionado para el coro viajó por muchos estados de Venezuela como primera voz de tenor. Y así pasaron muchos años incursionando en el canto coral. También tuvo el gusto de estar y tener como directora coral específicamente de la "Polifónica Sucre" a Gladys de Arteaga (que ahora reside en Brasil). Obtuvo muchos méritos por haber participado en varios festivales como coralista y solista. Fue fundador de varias agrupaciones muscales como : "Patria Son", "Caribe en Sol Mayor", "Los Cumanecitos" y la coral infantil Zenaida Varela, cuando existía el viejo Concejo Municipal donde hoy queda el Centro Comercial Ciudad Cumaná, en la avenida Bermúdez; por cierto allí funcionaba uno de los primeros hospitales de Cumaná donde nació.
Con el pasar de los años ha sido reconocido en gran parte de la ciudad como un promotor de la cultura y la idiosincrasia de nuestro pueblo con sus composiciones que hasta la hora lo sigue haciendo. Ya se siente parte intrínseca de la cultura de el estado Sucre. Hoy cultor popular que está haciendo un trabajo de calle recopilando las historias y biografías de grande garantes de la cultura de nuestro territorio que han sido ignorado desde el aspecto social.
Dentro de poco estará arribando a sus 58 años de vida.
Me cuenta que desde que entró en este mundo virtual de #hive no hace más que trabajar y producir porque su idea es dejar un legado para que otros sepan de mí si nunca me vieron. En su matrimonio actual conviven con él, dos seres a quien ama mucho. Moisés David Pulido Linares, Miguel Ángel Pulido Linares y su esposa Marvelys Linares.
