One of the things that make love hurts in the heart are the memories, every time that come to our minds the remembrances of those moments that gave us happiness and that are no longer possible we can feel an emptiness in the soul that causes us some suffering. The theme of the week "Love Hurts" and our song go hand in hand with the previous idea and that is why we wanted to share it with all of you.
"Nunca te olvidaré" is a song by the famous Spanish singer-songwriter Enrique Iglesias that corresponds to the album "Cosas del amor" which was released in 1998. As you can see, more than 20 years have passed but this song is still one of his historical hits. We particularly remember this song because of a Mexican soap opera with the same title and in which this song was used as a soundtrack.
There are a couple of phrases that seem to us quite intense in this song and that nowadays are difficult to listen to, the current songs even have a different structure, the verses are not so long and the choruses appear faster than usual, perhaps this is due to the fact that nowadays we have less time to listen to music and everything is more and more disposable. The phrases we were referring to are "You can spend 3, 000 years, you can kiss other lips, but I will never forget you" and "You can throw me out of your life, you can deny that you loved me, but I will never forget you".

Una de las cosas que hacen que el amor duela en el corazón son los recuerdos, cada vez que vienen a nuestras mentes las remembranzas de esos momentos que nos dieron felicidad y que ya no son posibles podemos sentir un vacío en el alma que nos causa cierto sufrimiento. La temática de la semana "Love Hurts" y nuestra canción van de mano con la idea anterior y es por ellos que quisimos compartirla con todos ustedes.
"Nunca te olvidaré" es una canción del famoso cantautor español Enrique Iglesias que corresponde al álbum "Cosas del amor" que fue lanzado en el año 1998. Como pueden observar, ya pasaron más de 20 años pero este tema se sigue manteniendo como unos de sus éxitos históricos. Nosotros en lo particular recordamos esta canción por una telenovela mexicana que se titulaba de la misma manera y en la se usaba esta canción con soundtrack.
Hay un par de frases que nos parecen bastante intensas en esta canción y que hoy en día son difíciles de escuchar, las canciones actuales incluso tienen otra estructura, ya las estrofas no son tan largas y los estribillos aparecen más rápido de lo habitual, quizá ello se deba a actualmente tenemos menos tiempo para escuchar música y todo es cada vez más desechable. Las frases a las que hacíamos referencia son "Pueden pasar 3, 000 años, puedes besar otros labios, pero nunca te olvidaré" y "Puedes echarme de tu vida, puedes negar que me querías, pero nunca te olvidaré".

La verdad es un clásico de clásicos y nos pareció apropiada para la temática, ya han pasado 20 años desde que esta canción salió pero sigue estando muy vigente. Son ciertas esas cosas que dices sobre el amor pero creo que son necesaria vivirlas, esas experiencias nos enseñan mucho.
