Está temática se presta a interpretar de dos maneras una donde se puede buscar canciones que te produzca paz y otra dónde la identificamos con la guerra, este flagelo que hoy en día lamentablemente está sucediendo en varios países del mundo.
En lo personal estuve indecisa en la canción a elegir porque para mí la paz debe comenzar en nosotros, porque si no la tenemos que podemos transmitir a las personas que están a nuestro alrededor y esa paz la encontramos en Dios. Lo otro que me hizo pensar en esta elección es en alzar nuestra voz por medio del canto para rechazar contundentemente las guerras que se está produciendo en diferentes países y que los más perjudicados son los pueblos y sobre todo nuestra generación de relevo los niños y la destrucción de nuestro planetas. Otro tema importante a resaltar es ese odio hacia las personas que emigran para buscar un futuro mejor. Son hechos que no deben suceder. Es por ello que buscando y buscando conseguí esta canción que les voy a presentar hoy "Solo le pido a Dios", siento que en ella están cubiertas todo lo que le mencioné anteriormente. La oración hacia Nuestro Creador para que nos haga ser una persona más humana y no nos sea indiferente el dolor que sufren nuestros hermanos que están en guerra, los que tuvieron que emigran y se toparon con ese odio en países cercanos, esto también es una guerra que se a dado hasta llegar a la muerte en caso extremo.

Es muy triste la forma en como las guerras destruyen pueblos, dejando dolor, hambre y tragedia a su paso... no conocía esta canción y ciertamente es una protesta humilde y bonita hacia la discriminación y hacia la guerra. Dios es el camino, así es mi querida Nelly, y lo es también la voluntad de cada uno al asumir que debemos unirnos en vez de separarnos, ya que la lucha más grande que tenemos es contra los corruptos que están "gobernando" naciones, ellos son los que alimentan el odio entre los seres humanos y dividen a diestra y siniestra, incluso más que las propias "religiones" y la pongo en comillas porque a veces creo que muchos no creen en el Dios en que tu o yo creemos...
